Drop any further questions you have below 👇 Also I just realised I meant to say 'stitch width' every time I mentioned 'stitch length' during the sewing test section of this video. If you do have this machine, please share any tips that I will find useful while using it. Thank you! xx Kim
I've been sewing on this machine for the past 4 years and I'm very happy with it. I also bought the Singer HD Overlocker / Serger and I'm a happy customer.
@@KimDave Definitely, it also has a dial on top to lift the foot higher to accommodate thicker fabrics. I've sewn really thick wool fabrics with ease and the slinky silky ones with no issues whatsoever. (You just need the correct needle and mostly leave your tension on 4)
@@KimDave No, to the left next to the silver head you put the thread around to wind the bobbin. It's a flat dial that you turn with a coin or a screwdriver and it complete grey in the same colour like the machine
I have had this machine for years! Besides maintenance, its works really well, especially for denim (7 oz, 11 oz, and 12 oz). I would suggest downloading the Singer app as it has help guides for all sewing needs (tension setting, finishing, different needle size, and how to calibrate the machine)! I hope this helps☺️
Bought this machine since 2016, still sew like a dream, make sure an oil, oil, oil all the moving parts cannot complain about it at all. Bought the humper jumper to use it for thick layers an heavy material when it will not sew an it will work wonders. Hope this helps.
@KimDave Yes, I've done 2 dresses, 2 pairs of pants, 3 tops, and a sweat suit with various fabric types such as chiffon, velvet, sequins, fleece, cotton and stretch knit. This machine has been a star.

It has a plus and minus sign on it

This is my first machine as a beginner sewing for 8 months. I don't know if I could have asked for anything better.
@@jamialaprince6556 wow that’s amazing. Have you made a lot of projects with it yet?

I have this sewing machine, and I got it from walmart for 238 CAD (tax inclusive).
@@Oluwafunmilayo___ oh that sounds like a good deal 👌
The metal thing is to guide the fabric at even width.
Ah I see 😃I’ll try it out next time! Thank you so much
Does anyone know where I can get it in Nigeria?
Apparently this vendor has it instagram.com/ijaymannequin_machines?igsh=MTRiYWw4amJpMXBpdA==
The top left thing is a screwdriver
Oooooo of course 😅🤦🏽♀️ why didn’t I think of that. Thank you 🙏
@@KimDavean the next little one is a button foot to sew on ur buttons.
Generally, I am not a negative person.
But I was disappointed with its performance.
Hi, please share your disappoinment sisi
There are better machines for beginners with speed control for example.
