It takes more time compared to just solve the eqn by regular method, so why then using matrices method, like what is their advantages? ( not even mentioning that when the you have a large system of linear eqns compared to this simple one )

It seems like elimination/substitution is easier to solve three systems of linear equations as opposed to doing the 3x3 matrix method. Are there variables that are easier to solve with the matrix method? Otherwise, I don't see why we would not just use substitution/elimination for the three variables with three systems of equations.
