Ryan...really appreciate your demeanor on the driver's stand. You kept your composure and not a peep at the marshalls. I know can learn something from that...at least not losing focus and getting back in it...nicely done...👍🏿
Me: sees new video and watches it
also
What happen to the stadium truck I like that class
Outdoor Dirt all the way here. Only downside is the weather doesn't always cooperate.. rained out every race this month here at 318 RC Raceway.
That’s a trooper. Thank you to Mrs. Harris for her contributions and effort. 👍
You sir, are an absolute professional, and always a pleasure to watch and learn from !! Thanks for all your hard work !!
I like the loamy dirt because it reminds me of moto and full size short course!! Rad video Ryan!!! Proud of Kenny!!!
We're proud of you Kenny. Keep up the good work Ryan you're the bomb dude
This surface is much closer to what we run in Europe! Have you run on a wet grass track? That is something else! Schumacher full spikes are the only way to go.
@Ryan I wish I could like the video 1k times bro you deserve so much more recognition just for the videography alone my man .... dude don’t stop making these art pieces, love it
Outdoor dirt race rule!
dirt all day
Loose dirt oval racing with a sprint car is so much fun. Nothing better than hanging out in beautiful weather and racing loose dirt!!
Another great video man, I always get excited when I get a notification from you!
1:8th scale: dirt over carpet (but my main track is carpet only..)
1:10th scale 2wd: to be determined... was going to race it in the winter but covid still hits and all tracks are closed..
I miss racing so much!
Also great video as always, every new one is a pleasure to watch, keep up the good work!
Wow that dirt looked like an absolute blast to drive in. Awesome!
Whooo Hoooo! Had me standing up hollering in my living room....
Holy smokes hes back!! Missed ur quality dialed rc vids Ryan
Almost like I was there. Very cool.
Outdoor is best . I like the changing surface throughout the day.
That was awesome.....love dirt racing.....ALL DAY LONG....not a big fan of turf. Looked like a good time.....nice win....track looked incredible.....have fun and be safe!👍
I was watching your older videos and just noticed you just uploaded this one. Love your vids.
Love outdoor tracks I wish I had one close to me. As always Ryan, thanks for the post!
Dirt all day , 4wd buggy was on point .. nice video . Merry Christmas to you too
I have only ever been on carpet. I am still new to the hobby. I have years of experience, but not racing, on a track, with race kits. In fact I purchased my first race kit today, rc10b6.2. I hope to be able to race dirt soon. I'm building a track on a spot of land. I really enjoy the videos of yours I have seen. Thanks for making them for all of us to enjoy.
what a turn at 3:55!!
Awesome race footage! That corner karma got ya! Have a great time over the holidays and wishing you the best going into 2021
Great to see this as we’re stuck in lockdown! Keep them coming mate!
After 3 million years he finally uploaded something 🤘🏽🤘🏽. Your videos are extremely helpful . I just purchased a b6.2d
The great outdoors!
Good content, i see my boy Jeremy back racing and winning 💪🏾💯
That's the best looking track I have seen you run on! Nice racing overall. If there was ANY tracks over here thats what I would want to be racing on for sure.
Outdoor loose dirt under the Lights for sure ! Hobby Haven on Wednesday night. So fun sliding corners and throwing roost !
Keep up the great work man. Love the videos!!!
Thanks Ryan! Stay safe - happy holidays 👍
That's my local track. Didn't realize you were out there. Very nice. Can't wait for them to finish the new layout.
Awesome video I loved it dirt is the best hands down.... !!!
Looks so fun would love to go race there .. love outdoor 1/10 racing
Nice video I miss those types of tracks.
Great job that weekend buddy ! Thanks for the pinion gear my friend , and rear shock shaft .
Great video Ryan thank you
Dirt is the best❤
Dirt all the way so much fun
Nowadays, I mostly do clay and dirt. I did Spec Slash on carpet when I first started out. I will have to give carpet another run since a new carpet track opened up on the east side of the Twin Cities, MN.
Sadly everything around SE MN closed up. Good to hear there’s still some life in The Cities.
Love the videos you help me so much I might even get a TLR 22
Another solid video, surprised by the pace of those stock short course, looked very fast.
Loamy dirt all the way! #RealOffRoad!
Woah, so cool to see you visit, Ryan - this is just south of my house in High Springs!
Nice job Ryan, definitely dirt
I miss dirt racing
Hey Ryan glad to see your racing because with what’s going on in my life I unfortunately can’t but very cool track
I like both!
New subscriber here. Just started watching some of your videos. Love the work 💪
about time you came up with a new video... also thanks for what you do. new to the hobby, and just built my first care since i was 12... i am now 44.
My itch to race gets bigger with every racing video I watch
I think dirt is what it is all about because no one specific set up is always right you must be able to drive a good line and be willing to adjust your line as the track changes.
Another great video mate. Wanna see your cars after the race and then a video while your are cleaning and rebuild your cars . It will be interesting
Dirt all day, everyday! It's a true test of skill and ability. Also so a sh!t ton of fun!
I love dirt tracks like this It is more realistic and you better bring mad control skills or you loose lol It's also fun trying to figure out how to get as much traction in the rear with out pushing the front It's a awesome feeling when you get it hooking up in and out of the corners ✌️
An Ivy League University should award you a Doctorate in Engineering Education. I have an MA in International Education from the Westminster Institute in Oxford, so I can give you those props with authority. Your video productions are sensational, fascinating, and incredibly informative. Cheers !!!
nice video! Merry Christmas to you too and stay healthy!
Went down the UA-cam RC rabbit hole and came across your channel. Great content man, lots of tips for beginners such as myself. Just recently picked up a 22 5.0 DC roller and plan on racing. I myself am from Florida also with the Coral Springs track about a 45min to an hour drive away. Be gentle with this old man on the track.
Very jealous of these tracks you have in the states. In the UK it’s Astro turf in summer, and carpet in winter. Although because of covid it’s been outdoor Astro for winter, which has been challenging and fun
What, no stadium truck? 4 classes wouldn't be too bad! Lol 😆
Haven’t raced in years but dirt for sure. Carpet is intense and and setup setup setup. Dirt is a little more forgiving and it’s just a good time. Ended up with a AE sc truck and forgot how fun Rc was. Been looking at buggies but never have run a buggy. Ran stadium trucks outdoor and carpet and then a car on carpet and hydroplanes.
My home 1/8 track is a very unique dirt offroad, the only one like it that I have seen? It is river bottom silt, its very sandy, which is bad for the bearings especially when it gets dryer. Suposed to have a race tomorrow, cant wait! Cool video bro!
these videos have been great, the perspective on going from carpet to dirt was interesting! I have a thought for you on a new video - it would be interesting to see a side by side video of the car on track and your fingers on the throttle and wheel for carpet and dirt
Nice running 💥👌
Love your content brother. Thank you so much for making so many great videos. I bought a 22X4 because of you. I love it. Hands-down the greatest car I’ve ever owned. To answer your question, I like my off-road trucks like my women. No carpet.
Where’s the Florida Carpet Championship video?
love your vids bro
Dirt all day long . More fun track develops over time .
100% Dirt, 100% of the time. High bite indoor clay or loose loamy outdoor. Tough to beat the excitement of outdoor 8th scale with big jumps, but 10th scale has a special place in our souls, too. The dynamics of weather and track conditions makes it a fun chess game and always keeps you busy with finding that special tweak or tire solution to dial your car in on dirt. I think it gets people to talk to each other more too; as on dirt people are always looking to get their cars to drive better as the track changes and the guys I race with are eager to share to the world what magically made things better. It's less about reaction time and more about finesse and planning too. You just can't make the same kind of jumps and tracks on carpet as you can on dirt. Dodging ruts, drifting around corners, spraying dirt rooster tails... Oh so good!
ryan taught me about shocks
"Carpet for life!" Until my local carpet track closes then "Dirt for life!"
Carpet over dirt. More frequent track changes and for us non sponsored fellas the tire bill is much less. An added bonus is the fact that weather doesn't ruin a race day
This episode was truly one of the most amazing 26 minutes I’ve spent in UA-cam.
My home track is an outdoor 1/8th loomy track😁. We have this river clay (it sits right next to a huge river) that covers everything. Blockades are the preferred tire. We also have one of the best dirt ovals north of Cali here in the PNW.😀
I really like dirt because it is many fun!
Another great vid bud!
Yo love the videos man keep it up
The beard is back town!
Its seems like I have waited ages for a new VT, over the moon right now.
Ryan Harris video drops.
Me: Must Watch!!
We are proud of you Kenny!
Carpet over loose dirt, indoor slicks is king it trumps all else
@@dustinspallone6659 you guys gotta come up here first! We have a track here you know... very similar to newberry
Great video! Hope to get to race with you again.
I love dirt on my 1/8th nitro, but i gotta go with high traction for the 1/10
Ryan is so good in 4wd ✌️👍
Kenny you got this broO0Oo0oOoOo
Dirt...more fun!
@03:03 is that your Great Dane? Holy Crap - it is beautiful - more pics of doggo please.
Missed you brother!!!!! TLR!!!!
What a great race!! Great job! I thought for sure you were going to battle back in 2wd. In 2wd when you missed the triple, is there anything you say to yourself to get back on track? Its one thing I struggle with when I crash.. seems like when I crash.. I follow it up with several crashes and take myself out of putting good laps together.
Can't wait for the next video. Have a happy and safe holiday season!
Love your vids Ryan! I have a 22 5.0 Elite and it's my first 2WD buggy so I know track time will be the number one thing to get a handle on it. That said, do you have a setup you recommend for a low/medium grip, small indoor dirt track? Could be my tire choice and lack of 2WD experience, but it is a handful to drive especially on corner exit. Super loose!
Great video! I'm a dirt guy!
Clay all day!
Hi man! Love to see this type of videos; i have a question about the system that u use for know the time lapse and how its work, can someone tell me more about it? Thanks!!
Dirt for me not even close. Carpet for whatever reason has a whole other vibe to it and it’s a vibe I can get into.
New idea for a video.. what do you do to clean after a race outdoor
Merry Christmas mate
I haven't been racing long but most of my experience is on the loose, loamy and (in my opinion) the real off road tracks. Loose dirt tracks change throughout the day and the drivers should have to adjust to the track not make the track so locked in that its exactly the same each race. That race is exactly what RC needs to get back to. Thank you.
I just joined and that's so my local track. Small tight dust and hard pack. Wet last 5 mins bone dry in 20
You are right Tim thank you
What adjustments would you make. What to look for. Curious as im just starting off
To have the different styles is good… you choose where to race…
