Just wonderful! 🤗 Your thousands of hours of practicing shows in this fine rendition of this sweet song. Thank you so much for sharing your God-given, fine-honed talents with us!! I, as many I'm sure, have thoroughly enjoyed watching & listening to you two young men growing & maturing along your musical journey together- such a breath of fresh air (& good music) in this world that is filled with so much electronically-enhanced noise (touted as music) that is not only morally-offensive, but also physically damaging to the human (& canine) ear! Your dog sleeping soundly next to you two during your performance is a testament to the pure, sweet, & restorative sounds coming from your instruments & voices. Again, Thank You!!!
I thought the dog was a Polar Bear Rug. Hey. You young fellas are "On It!" you boys have an unexplainable ingredient in your music. And thank you for maintainin' the original "Spirit" of Bluegrass. I know your Grandparents gotta be mighty proud of you two.
Lorrene Lemaster Beautiful comment Ma’am , May God bless you and keep you and your family and loved ones & friends . Gosh, you look just like my late Grandma too 😭😢 . May I ask, do you Crochet for anyone who’s sick ? . I am seriously ill with pancreatic cancer and I’ve just been diagnosed sadly. I’ve also got Multiple Sclerosis. I would love to ask a favour, my late Grandmother Crocheted and I have my baby teddy bear with it’s beautiful Crocheted little suit she made for me when I was a baby . It’s my treasured possession. She’s called “ Alice “ , my teddy bear 🧸, my late Grandmother is called Bertha . I’m actually a young medical Doctor born in Denmark, but I’m in Wales , a small country that’s part of the four different countries that make up the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. They are England , Scotland , Wales & Northern Ireland . There is also a few tiny countries called “ crown dependencies “ called The Isle Of Mann “ , Guernsey and Jersey too. I want so desperately a Crocheted blanket / comforter. I’m a direct descendant of the last Tsar / Emperor Of Imperial Russia , and I’m named after his only son , the Tsarevich Crown Prince Alexei ( now a Saint in the Russian Orthodox Church ) , I’m named after him too. He was only just 2 weeks away from his 13 TH birthday when he, along with the Tsar & Tsarina Nicholas II & ALEXANDRA I and their four beautiful daughters, Their Imperial Highness’s Grand Duchesses’ Olga , Tatiana , Maria & Anastasia were all executed in Yekaterinburg, Siberia. They were treated horrifically as I’m sure you will likely know about , and already know about them . The Doctor, servants were offered freedom by the assassination Bolshevik squad, but they bravely said “ we stay with the family who we we love and respect “. They were executed too. I’m just hoping that you could create a crocheted blanket or comforter with an embroidered name and crown on it . I’m sorry to be a nuisance or bother you ma’am, but I truly felt “ drawn” to you . If, you can’t or don’t do this , could you kindly let me know of anyone who can help me ? . I would be truly honoured to have your help . My email is starmedica28@gmail.com Much love and blessings, 🤴🏼Alexis 🤝🇬🇧💯❤️💯🙏🏻👍
I recognize two album covers from my parents' collection - Willie Nelson - The Red-Headed Stranger and John Denver's Greatest Hits. Our house was always filled with music like this when I was a kid. My dad in particular loved this style of music, and he would have loved to have known about these guys. Great work!
@@aarhead01 Please ignore the Trumpanzee, Aaron. He's a sad little loser waving the battle flag of defeated losers and traitors. His kind will be extinct soon enough but this music (OUR music) will live on.
Absolutely great to see you gentlemen posting a new song and a good one it is, one of my favorites. You certainly do it justice with a super performance. 👍
Wow you guys are amazing. Love this bluegrass. Such good harmony. Id love to come to one of your venues one day. If you guys ever produced an album id definatly buy one. Obviously the dog loves it too. Great job guys
I just heard this song for the first time and I'm hooked on it. So I've been surfing versions and found yours, which is great! And now I've found you. It's a good day.
Do you have a fan club? Where can I purchase your videos and CDs? I live in Missouri and would live to hear your music on some of the area Bluegrass radio shows.
I've been watching your post for a long time. VERY GOOD! As time has gone by you guys have gotten very professional. I would like to hear you all redo "I heard the bluebirds singing". You are older and voices have changed to the better! Please keep them coming and do what you do best ....Bluegrass! Don't forget to SMILE alot. People love it. They KNOW you are enjoying what you do. Just a few words from an OLD guy who has played bluegrass for 40+ years.
Gentlemen - its getting to be the cold, wet and windy time of the year up your way. Hope the weather gives you some inside time to do a couple more videos. Best wishes.
I was watching you two play and checking out the awesome album covers on the wall. LoL, but it wasn't until about 20 seconds in before I took notice to your doggy lying on the couch. Great to hear y'all. Keep playing the music!
Wonderful boys! Just wonderful! For all of us music artist’s and fans of the art, there is such a respect, love and appreciation for good music! Thank you for carrying on a style of music that would otherwise be forgotten... God bless. 🎶 🎶 🎶
"Cailìn" is Irish for a young Girl. "Caileach" (cal-yak) is Irish for an Old Woman or a Witch. Great singers and players here not forgetting the dog in the land of doggy-nod.
I admire how far they’ve come and hope they continue to grow with popularity. It’s neat to see young artist come into the spotlight and carry on the tradition of bluegrass. Some of the songs are new to me but they sound great. I have seen many of the videos and can’t get over seeing them grow in age and see the changes in their looks. They will be off to college or military soon and we will miss them as they spend time on other endeavors.
I have traded Colleen Malone for Nash, with your permission and in honor of an extraordinary dog. I hope you like it and please don't get angry. Thank you. It’s been ten years and three since I first went to sea Since I sailed from old Ireland and home But those hills lush and green were a part of my dreams When I dreamed of my Nash On the day I returned to my sorrow I learned That the angels had called her away To a grave on a hill overlooking the mill That’s the place where she’s sleeping today As the soft breezes blow through the meadow I go Past the mill with the moss covered stone Up the pathway I climb through the woods and the vines To be with my Nash She was faithful each day as I sailed far away There was no one but me that she loved I remember those eyes soft and blue as the skies And her heart was as pure as a dove All the years of my life I will not take a wife I will live in this valley above Planting flowers around in this soft gentle ground That is holding my Nash
These two are absolutely amazing! Fantastic job! Does anyone know what their "soloing" in between singing is called? I'd like to learn how to go about learning that kind of stuff, but I don't know what to search for or what it's called.
Great job boys. I just discovered The Zolla's this morning. Glad I did. I wonder from where their influences came for all the very traditional Bluegrass/Country songs they perform so well.? Did someone say they were from Canada ? So am I here. The sleeping dog is a nice touch.I wonder if they may have gotten the idea from Molly Tuttle's 2007 clip singing and playing " Diamond Joe" with her two very young brothers? Their dog is sleeping on the couch there as well. Very early Molly. Well worth viewing.
I love listening to u guys, fantastic renditions always! and was so happy to see u posted! then not only did I love your performance but I also love how sweetly the dog slept thru the entire thing without one twitch at all, looks a lot like my dogs that I love so very much, mine are a mix of Great Pyrenees, Maremma, and Akbash. would love to know what breed your dog is for sure!
Holy Cow! You guys are amazing and that DOG! Love him! Thanks for all the time you take to put something together. The three of you are AMAZING! Huge fan now and subscribed!
Lol... It took me a minute to figure out that white thing is a dog! How cute is that? 😄 I already knew these were not only talented but very decent young men, and their easy companionship with their pooch cinched it.
As usual.... Sheer excellence. I've watched you boys grow into fine young men. Best of luck in all your future endeavors, I'm sure music will play a big part. Keep on keeping on. 🤪

I love that they have the Everly Brothers' Christmas album on the wall and a contented doggo on the sofa! And the song is excellent, too!
Larry, I also see the album cover for Willie Nelson's "Red Headed Stranger."
Wow!4 years later and still singing and playing! Love it!
Love the dog, boys aren't too shabby themselves.

The dog! I could not love that dog more if I tried. Lol
What a lucky guy. Who would refuse when someone serenading me.
I was getting kind of worried about the dog until I finally saw its face twitch just a little bit!

What a great video with amazing talent, their beautiful dog and the walls covered with their musical heroes! They'll go far!
he loves his brother. that gives me the warmest feeling knowing the binds that bind are still strong behind all the mess pressed on us
Simply wonderful, as always! Love your music! Nice to see Nash sleeping contented with your sweet sounds!

It’s been ten years and three since I first went to sea
Since I sailed from old Ireland and home
But those hills lush and green were a part of my dreams
When I dreamed of my Nash
On the day I returned to my sorrow I learned
That the angels had called her away
To a grave on a hill overlooking the mill
That’s the place where she’s sleeping today
As the soft breezes blow through the meadow I go
Past the mill with the moss covered stone
Up the pathway I climb through the woods and the vines
To be with my Nash
She was faithful each day as I sailed far away
There was no one but me that she loved
I remember those eyes soft and blue as the skies
And her heart was as pure as a dove
All the years of my life I will not take a wife
I will live in this valley above
Planting flowers around in this soft gentle ground
That is holding my Nash
