After the war, all the archons met regularly with each other in Li Yue. They had not seen each other for the past 500 years after the tragedy in Khaenri'ah. However, Morax and Venti had already met after Venti woke up from his sleep and returned to Mondstadt. Therse two are the closest to each other of the Seven.

And he also said he cant say the same after the cataclysm. Based from his and zhongli’s character stories, voicelines, well as lore hidden behind the boulders in the teapot, windglider, zhongli and venti seemed closest amongst the 7 as they have more shenanigans tgt lol (even their countries’ respective history is closely tied) and zhongli did mention of a friend who visited him with dandelion line during the AQ in liyue so it is implied venti did visit him once in a while.

Best part of the event hands down. Zhongli and Venti are comedy gold trying to not reveal themselves. Xiao and traveler being awkwardly there is the icing on top lol. I also love all the different callbacks like Irodori, the Bartender event when Zhongli visited Angels Share, and Moonchase.
It's astonishing (or, should I say, ridiculous) that the first interaction between archons that we've seen happens in a limited time event that new players won't be able to play.
Hoyoverse did another question and answer on their own app (Hoyolab) and they said that they’re looking for a way to get new players to experience old events so my bets are in Fontaine that’s probably going to be fixed but they are likely going to release good 4 star weapons like Albedo’s that you won’t be able to get but at least you can experience the story. Edit: to keep Fomo alive but it’s already enough with the limited banners and events

1:39:26 'the one attuned to my soul' is known as 知音(知 as know, 音 as music) and is a very intimate way of referring to one another, a soulmate is the closest the eng translation can get, should you play a tune, your 知音 would know exactly how you feel down to the slightest changes, its why the quest was so sad for madame ping, her soulmate, her other half, essentially was gone and she would never find another who would truly understand the intricacies in her tunes
About xiao's past relationships with venti. Xiao almost lost himself to karma once, but venti's calm melody helped him to calm himself. This scene is in xiao's story quest as a cutscene and it's quite heartwarming

I have no idea how Dvorak is actually supposed to be pronounced, but the name was haunting me every time I even saw it and I felt like I was supposed to be remembering where it came from, and I finally figured it out - Antonin (I swear I've seen his name changed to Anthony) Dvorak was a super famous Czech composer who also did some composing and teaching in the US. As someone who has been playing flute for over 10 years and was also trying to be a music major (which I am no longer trying to do, because I don't hate myself) I have absolutely played some of his music, and I've played one of his most famous works multiple times and arranged at multiple different skill levels - Symphony No. 9: From the New World (or, when when I was just starting to play, "Theme from New World Symphony" in my beginner flute book). I wouldn't recommend listening to the full symphony unless you genuinely like classical music, because as someone who played classical music a lot but never really liked it all that much I can tell you for a fact that no matter how cool it sounds if you don't have some way to make it cool in your brain (like playing the music, in my case) it can become torture, especially if it's a 40 minute symphony. What you should do, however, is listen to at least part of the 4th movement, because it's super cool. Also, when John Williams was composing the Star Wars music he totally drew inspiration from that 4th movement, and there are literal compilations on UA-cam comparing Dvorak's 4th movement to Star Wars music.

it's so funny how shocked xiao is when venti comes in he's the friend xiao mentioned who he said he'd had met days prior venti and xiao are connected by lore, his flute has soothing properties that eases xiao's karma,, long ago, xiao was in anguish due to his karma (and i think he was about to succumb) when the pain suddenly vanished and he heard the sound of a flute. it protected him on his journey. also his name card description says he hopes one day he will be able to put on the mask and dance, not to conquer demons but rather to the sound of the flute very poetic me thinks
Meeting our favourite characters is the best part of this event . Their interactions with the traveler and each other are far more interesting than any challenge or quest. I hope Hoyoverse will listen to playerbase and let some characters wander around in the Teyvat . It's nice seeing them outside of story quests. It would make world seem more alive

Ning and Beidou talking about being bored and inviting Yelan over to play "chess" together 😭 they knew exactly what they were doing writing that interaction

Yeah but if we think about it, it wasn’t really set in stone that Fontaine will be France based only… i mean the name says it, so i thought yeah of course France would be the main source of inspiration, but seeing what they did with Sumeru I wouldn’t be surprised if they included multiple European countries’ culture references into Fontaine, maybe also Belgium, UK, Estonia, I have no idea but that’s what I believe
If it wasn't for the two Archon boys teasing the absolute Celestia out of each other, I would say that the discussion about what music means and makes you feel (and all else this entails) with Ganyu and Shenhe is my absolute favourite part of this whole event. As a Hu Tao main, I loved that she had a bigger part to play as well, but her contribution wasn't as profound and more and the fun side (which is awesome). But these two adoptive sisters beginning to understand that they aren't some loathsome outcasts, but part of society like everyone else, it just hits really hard and well. Also Shenhe humming the opera's melody while walking off made me melt, look at how far the girl has come.
This being my first lantern rite, it was kinda wild. Broke my heart and then had to watch two archons pretending to just have met😭 I loved it tho. Everyone seemed so cozy and friendly :D

Still watching the video right now but I would like to say thank you for all the entertaining ang long videos. Lantern Rite always has a special place in my heart, and this Lantern Rite is probably my favorite. I also love this connects to Xiao's animated trailer they released a few days before the patch Happy Lantern Rite!

is kinda nostalgic seeing characters like venti and zhongli on youtube thumbnails now because of how many new characters have been introduced and how far along the story has come. I like seeing old faces again
lately I haven't has much time to sit through events and quest so most of the time I am skipping through the dialogue to get through it. I miss quite a lot of the story so whenever you upload a long video I get happy to listen to the quest as well as hearing your great commentary while I am working!!

It's a crying shame that the interaction between Venti and Zhongli was only in a limited time event. Not just those two but everyone in the after party Shenhe and Lumine humming, Yelan whispering near our ears, and characters actually on their arc of singing WITH lyrics. Venti too sang in Weinlesefest and now Xinyan and Hu Tao.

The "old friend" that Xiao mentioned is Venti! Hoyoverse released an animated teaser before lantern rite that was about Xiao, and Venti, Baizhu, and Qiqi showed up in it. Venti and Xiao have a lot of connections in the games lore. And Venti is mentioned multiple times in Zhongli's character stories, as well as a bunch of other lore. Also Venti mentioned in the version trailer that he'd be at lantern rite hahah also whenever paimon getting nervous that traveler will leave is always so suspicious to me. it makes me wonder if her being our guide in teyvat is a critical part of the way things play out ... like how nahida said someone is "purposefully obfuscating our siblings fate" so is.. paimon obfuscating the traveler's fate ?
"Random Event: A Strange Melody" complete! 😂 Paimon lol - that's a great description of teamwork wow - the story about Streetward Rambler + Guizhong 🥺 - THE CUTE GRANNIES WATCHING THIS VIDEO LMAO 🤣 - Xingqiu does really just love teasing Chongyun 😭 - this moment of Xiao and Venti meeting in front of us was my favorite ever. I've been wishing to see these two together ever since the trailer and the story of how Venti saved Xiao. THEY ARE THE BEST - Zhongli has a character story where Venti visits him with a wine in hand so...yes, they should've known - "even if I act like I don't like you half the time" to Paimon 🥺😭💕 that's nice. I need more Paimon positives - It's a great event for me especially the character interactions GOSH ❤❤❤
Aw I actually didn't expect the sappiness from you near the end, saying we are your Paimon.. Well, I can say that you definitely are our Traveller! Showing new and old players around in fun and engaging ways that makes the experience livelier. That's why we always come back for more. So thank you for that and Happy Lantern Rite! And the overall story and lore between Madame Ping and Guizhong was so bittersweet qvq This was my first ever Lantern Rite I got to celebrate in Genshin, and I'm so happy I was able to do so! Thank you so much for this video! First two parts of the quest are so wholesome and emotional! The last part went a little overboard with it's "trolling a people with secrets" component. But it was interesting too.
I love how these big events make us feel as the characters are real and we know them as real friends, like teasing xiao and the liyue gang, lumine and xiao just looking at each other knowing both archons in the table hahaha god even tease cloud retainer is cool and funny. And of course Bartobas and Rex Lapis interactions in disguise I couldn't tanked it I burst in laugh, Hutao is so sneaky that's why I love my main. Thanks for the video Nasyo!! 💟

the device i played genshin on ran out of space i was really sad i wasn't able to do the lantern right quest and other stuff but going through it together with one of my favorite genshin content creater was just as fun if not more. i hope i am able to get a new device soon until then i'll be enjoying every quest with you (and even then watching your reaction to genshin quest is so fun i've said it before will say it again thanks for doing what you do i'm sure you make so many people happy)

Welp, Dvorak of Fontaine's name is based on one of the *classical Czech composer Antonin Dvorak* which makes sense since both are connected to Music and are both musicians, and Fontaine is much like also a mixture of European Countries (not just France) like how Mondstadt also is (but primarily Germany).

Just a fyi: Dvorak is directly inspired by Antonín Dvořák, a Czech composer and pianist, I have absolutely no idea why they made him from Fontaine when Dvořák had nothing to do France
Yeah but if we think about it, it wasn’t really set in stone that Fontaine will be France based only… i mean the name says it, so i thought yeah of course France would be the main source of inspiration, but seeing what they did with Sumeru I wouldn’t be surprised if they included multiple European countries’ culture references into Fontaine, maybe also Belgium, UK, Estonia, I have no idea but that’s what I believe
i believe fontaine is meant to be an industrial europe inspired (as opposed to mondstadt which gets inspiration from medieval europe)

If it wasn't for the two Archon boys teasing the absolute Celestia out of each other, I would say that the discussion about what music means and makes you feel (and all else this entails) with Ganyu and Shenhe is my absolute favourite part of this whole event. As a Hu Tao main, I loved that she had a bigger part to play as well, but her contribution wasn't as profound and more and the fun side (which is awesome). But these two adoptive sisters beginning to understand that they aren't some loathsome outcasts, but part of society like everyone else, it just hits really hard and well.
Also Shenhe humming the opera's melody while walking off made me melt, look at how far the girl has come.
they definitely know each other, based on venti voice line, venti also knew that rex lapis is now zhongli, so they are 100% roleplaying here😅

is kinda nostalgic seeing characters like venti and zhongli on youtube thumbnails now because of how many new characters have been introduced and how far along the story has come. I like seeing old faces again
lately I haven't has much time to sit through events and quest so most of the time I am skipping through the dialogue to get through it. I miss quite a lot of the story so whenever you upload a long video I get happy to listen to the quest as well as hearing your great commentary while I am working!!

The "old friend" that Xiao mentioned is Venti! Hoyoverse released an animated teaser before lantern rite that was about Xiao, and Venti, Baizhu, and Qiqi showed up in it.
Venti and Xiao have a lot of connections in the games lore. And Venti is mentioned multiple times in Zhongli's character stories, as well as a bunch of other lore.
Also Venti mentioned in the version trailer that he'd be at lantern rite hahah

I love how these big events make us feel as the characters are real and we know them as real friends, like teasing xiao and the liyue gang, lumine and xiao just looking at each other knowing both archons in the table hahaha god even tease cloud retainer is cool and funny. And of course Bartobas and Rex Lapis interactions in disguise I couldn't tanked it I burst in laugh, Hutao is so sneaky that's why I love my main. Thanks for the video Nasyo!! 💟

As someone from Czechia/Czech republic myself, I was so proud and happy to see some representation in the game and I was especially nicely surprised at the attempt to correctly pronounce the name! Since letter Ř is very difficult to pronounce for the foreigners.
the device i played genshin on ran out of space i was really sad i wasn't able to do the lantern right quest and other stuff but going through it together with one of my favorite genshin content creater was just as fun if not more. i hope i am able to get a new device soon until then i'll be enjoying every quest with you (and even then watching your reaction to genshin quest is so fun i've said it before will say it again thanks for doing what you do i'm sure you make so many people happy)

Welp, Dvorak of Fontaine's name is based on one of the *classical Czech composer Antonin Dvorak* which makes sense since both are connected to Music and are both musicians, and Fontaine is much like also a mixture of European Countries (not just France) like how Mondstadt also is (but primarily Germany).
