    My hair is so thin or idk and using this just makes my hair flop around, i'm going to have to use clay and i'm afraid even that will not control my hair. Nice review by the way.

      MrCesar M It honestly really depends on what clay you use, but some great better holding options I suggest looking into are Oasis by Templeton Tonics and Baxter Clay Pomade

    This one's an all time classic, I described the scent as Piña Colada/Coconut candy in my review of it. I think it's actually very similar to Royal Crown pomade (just a touch more shine and a slight notch less hold), making it a good and more readily available alternative. But somehow on my hair this one holds better than most classic light stuff like RCHD (which I don't like) and Dax blue, I was even able to pomp with it when I had longer hair. When I started out with pomades I used to be addicted to Murray's Super Light so it holds a special position in my heart til now. I used to be that guy who exclusively uses classics as you mentioned before I discovered stuff like Lockhart's and Shear Revival.

      The Squinty Show that’s what I assumed but it still looks similar to me.
      Maybe I just didn’t go back far enough through his videos
      What’s kinda funny is recently I’ve been watching his vids your vids and krypton arts vids and while I’m not a greaser I deff like the hair style
      So I have been trying to do the same style but having horrible results.
      My hair is thick but now I assume it’s because I’m balding there as well lol
      Which is also why in my last video my dog calls me bald like 100x lol

      I don't think Goon Grease would do anything for Cameron these days. His hair is only like 1 inch long and is physically unable to be styled in any respectable way that would merit using an amazing product like Goon Grease. Basically, it would be a waste of $12 to buy it and a waste of a good product.

    • @pomadesandpompadours6309
      @pomadesandpompadours6309 5 років тому

      @@SalandFindles I beg to differ, his hair looks at least 2 and a half inches, and if he can rock a decent contour with Murray's Super Light, Goon will definitely be alright since it has a lot more slickness to it. My hair is even at a similar length to Cam's.

      I don't think this product needs a review, it is already No1 at his Best Pomades (even thought he loves the lights) video and everyone agrees it is pretty much the king of heavy holding pomades. If you have medium-long and medium-thick hair, it is pretty much guaranteed satisfaction.

    You look great with Murray's Super light in your hair. I completely disagree with you in your opinion that Murray's Super Light has less hold than Royal Crown. It has more hold than Royal Crown Hair Dressing, but less hold than Royal Crown Pomade. I've been using all of these products on a weekly basis or years, and it's clear that Murray's Super Light has better hold than Royal Crown Hair Dressing. I can actually form a decent pomp with Murray's Super Light. I can't do that to any great extent with Royal Crown hair Dressing.

    Layright Super Shine is more expensive than Murray's Super Light, and it dries out your hair after wash it out. It leaves my hair looking like all the oil has been stripped out of it. I also get allergic reaction from the chemicals in Layright Super Shine. The scent of that product is just godawful. Yeah, it has decent shine, and bette rhold than Murray's Super Light, but it has so many drawbacks. If you're into paying more for a product, then so be it. Go for the Layright Super Shine, but the shine isn't better than Murray's Super Light, and it'll dry out your hair. If that's what your into

    Best to describe it as just a really great fruity scented pomade. Not generic by any means, and it's by far one of the best smelling scents of any pomade; especially in the classics line of pomades. One of the better light hold pomades out there too. I honestly think it was designed to compliment Murray's Superior as a combo. I love using it as a chill day pomade. Holds my slick back with ease. 👍

      The Pomp King Just because something is made for "swag" hairstyles doesn't mean it's bad. This is a honestly a very subjective way of looking at things as a true product's quality should adhere to what it's designed for. If it's designed for what you call "swag hairstyles" and do them well, then it's a decent product.
      These past few years saw many releases designed for loose and textured styles, such as matte clays, pastes and creams - some of them are even my top picks of 2018.
