I’m 70 years old, I’ve just now discovered the beauty in violin playing and music. This child has a brilliant future ahead of her. A joy to watch and listen to.
Been watching her for the last three years. She can make a man cry with her playing. It invokes emotions we as men try to suppress. I revert back to it when I feel sorry for myself.
This film brings tears everytime, it is by far one of the greatest films ever created. The actors, the writers,, the directors, and especially the editors who with precision detail pieced it all together. A masterpiece that will be remembered by so many for decades.
I have always found the music of the movie "The last of the Mohicans" enchanting. She takes this one step further. As someone else here said; she makes her violin sing... Indescribably beautiful!
Karolina is great but you should also check out Jenny O'Connor. She did a very good rendition of this son a few years ago. Unlike Karolina she learned to play as an adult.
I have a friend who was born legally (almost clinically) blind. We both LOVE music of all genres. We listened to Miss Protsenko's clip, and he said, " So THAT'S what music LOOKS LIKE!!!" Absolutely magnificent! I was never really that much interested in violin playing in the past. But the way this amazing young lady plays excites me and brings the violin alive. This particular piece is not an easy theme to play but Karolina plays it brilliantly! Up until recently I was teaching students around her age group. Although not in her subject area I do have an interest in music. In my teaching years I probably taught in excess about 10000 ( ten thousand students). The point being I recognize exceptional Talent when I see it. This young lady is truly a STAR.
she also has an amazing stage presence that just draws ppl. You can't teach or fake it, if you have it, its just there. She has what it takes to draw a huge audience.

Well it's actually Galic, it's called the Gail by Dougie McLean who is Scottish, refuring to the west of Scotland Clans who spoke Galic., he wrote it in the eighties, and it was used for the film last of the Mochians, if you watch the film when they play this peice of music it has bagpipes.

Yes Dougie McLean the Scottish song writer would be proud, they used this fir the film Last of the mochians, its called the Geal meaning the Galic language from the west Scottish Clans. Alot of people cover it but they call it Last of the mochians instead of its real name and never give Dougie credit.And I don't know if it its an improvement on Dougie's original but it is very lovely.

It's not Native American music it's Scottish, it's called the Geal written by Dougie McLean a Scottish song writer in the eighties meaning the Galic language of the west Scottish Clans, and it was used for the film last of the mochians.
Song has nothing to do with native Indians other than that movie

Yes Dougie McLean the Scottish song writer would be proud, they used this fir the film Last of the mochians, its called the Geal meaning the Galic language from the west Scottish Clans. Alot of people cover it but they call it Last of the mochians instead of its real name and never give Dougie credit.And I don't know if it its an improvement on Dougie's original but it is very lovely.
