There is always a conflict that which male lead loves her the most or which deserves her the most or which one is best for her, but in actual what matter the most is "to whom she love the most". In a relationship the partners need not to be perfect but what important is the mutual love, trust and understanding and if you watch it carefully then you will notice from starting to the end she crave for- she was longing for only one person and that is her Ye Shi Qi urf Tushan Jing. So, if she chooses him then it doesn't matter which one is best or perfect for her.
And if we talk about the degree of love of male leads then all the male leads loves her their best but still I will choose Tushan Jing bcz only tushan jing was always ready to leave everything behind for her, even, he was ready to abandon his Tushan status and to be her servant always for being with her lifelong. He never doubted her , he always say okay to whatever xiaoyao says and never ask her back.
And also it is clearly shown in ep 7 that she was crying and regreting for her decision of abandoning jing in the past and run away from him rather than facing all the difficulties with him.

I think the 3 MLs were very well written. They loved her in their own ways & have their own unique issues, that makes the story very interesting. Love & understand Zhang WanYi's ambitions, he's such a great actor. XL's styling was the best, he looks great with his beautiful mask & white hair.
However I'm Team Jing, just a personal preference😍 , his love is so sweet. I just love that for myself

I know xiang liu is amazing and I love him too. But the one who gave her actual happiness and absolute peace was Tanshu jing/shiqi. He was ready to do anything and everything and was at all times with her from beginning to end so I stand with her for choosing him. Xiang liu loved her a lot but he caused her pain and fear in the beginning too and a lot of us choosing him shows we prefer loving toxicity ToT but I'm glad she chose TSJ.

Jing is nice but he need to grow a backbone because he’s too good which makes him incapable of protecting her and/or their happiness. I would rather a man that will try to save me until there is no other option, to one that simply decides to give up and die with me. Jing is nice but at the end he too ended up hurting her because of his inability to be stronger. That’s just my opinion.

@@Xixukukuhuhu yes after finding out this it made sense to me why why there are many guys and one girl! like a modern school drama that this naive girl goes to school and all the hot guys fall in love with her and everyone had a traumatic childhood!!
Xianglu also reminded me of Wangsoo. Traumatic past, people treated him like a monster, looks like a cold hearted person but will fall in love with her... it indeed will have a tragic ending but I guess at least the female lead won't die here.

I really liked Tushan Jing in the beginning... but all of his actions till episode 36 (I'm at 36 rn) are all just excuses not to let go if Xiaoyao even though he doesn't do anything to keep her. I started hating him when he committed suicide instead of finding a way to revive Xiaoyao. Xiaoyao was even the one to save him lol.

Of all the Cdramas I've watched before, this is the most heartbreaking so far. Compared to Yang Zi's other projects, this one literally hit the spot where all the pain is coming from. This drama made me ride on a roller coaster of emotions. And now after reading the novel, it just made me broke into a trillion pieces more. I don't know what exactly should I feel. Be happy or be sad? my heart is confused. I want Jing for Xiao Yao, I also like Xiang Liu for her. Aaa!! Idk anymore. You better not read the novel, you will be extremely heart broken. (Specially for the XL fans) I hope the adaptation S2 have a different plot twist:(
