How To Fix A Paper Jam On Canon Pixma TR4500 Printer-Full Tutorial

In this video, I show you and tell you how to fix a paper jam on a Canon Pixma TR4500 series printer. If there is a piece of paper jammed up int he printer, you should get it out as quickly as possible because leaving it in there and printing additional documents might cause more permanent damage. With that being said, I go over some easy steps that you can use to hopefully free up the paper jam and get printing once again.

No jammed paper or scraps of paper inside the printer, yet I still get a paper jam error that will not clear. Turned off and unplugged the printer, made sure no paper actually jammed, plugged the printer back in and inserted a single sheet of paper in the input tray. Turned on the printer and it fed the paper in and sent it back out to the output tray. Now the input tray is empty. Instead of saying that the printer is out of paper, it tries to grab the nonexistent sheet from the input tray and immediately reports a paper jam instead of an empty input tray. Time to buy a replacement, I guess.
