As you may or may not know, I've been working on the sequel to the Pony D&D Reenactment video for quite some time now (It's almost finished) but since it's been awhile since I've released anything substantial, AquaKrunk and I collaborated on this little mix for you all to tide you over. So sit back, relax, and be taken on an aural journey with these fresh beats including works spanning from the genres of instrumental hip-hop, crunk, trap, DnB, and chiptune.

I'm really happy to hear that. If you're looking for a great book on animation, I highly recommend the Animators Survival Kit. It's a great book for beginners and professionals and pretty much covers most, if not all, aspects of animation. Good luck with your endeavours.

I find a lot of it just by digging around SoundCloud. I look for similar artists to the ones I like and listen to various random mixes and find tracks I enjoy.

DJ TWINKIE Sure, the big ones I follow are Flume, GANZ, 123Mrk, Machinedrum, Lindsay Lowend, Wave Racer, Rockwell, and Rustie. There's plenty of others though so don't be afraid to dig deeper.

Yep, it's partly because of the collab with AquaKrunk but also because I would say a good amount of tunes in the mix fall under the "aquacrunk" aka "wonky" ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonky_(music) ) genre of music. I didn't put way too much thought into the name tbh, I just thought it had a nice ring to it.

I always find it kind of odd, you make a video practically advertizing these songs for these musicians for free but they complain and get your video muted making them appear to be sell-out jerks. Huh. I guess most people don't understand how real life works.
And know they've gone and nuked the soundcloud
