Love your content-truly the best on the topic! Only one wish-it's for you to move to 4k, as the small text in plugins is a bit hard to read on modern screens. Thank you!
Thank you for another great video, Jono! BTW I find that Logic's Phase Distortion works great on pads, gives that angry feel and stereo width. Should be added in slight amounts.
Jono this is amazing! I used an arpeggiated sequence with Retro Synth's Analog Pluck and drove the Grit stomp pedal filter and drive and it went super crazy! Definitely a great way to add space to the delays and tension if you modulate it to move to other sections. Thanks!!
Excellent tension cue, Jono. For some bizarre reason automating saturation has never occurred to me before. I always use Auto Filter. What did I say was the opposite of sensible? 😜
Absolutely. My mistake - I had a brainfart. The UAD plug-in version of this plug-in is called Raw and that’s what came out of my mouth! It is indeed a RAT-inspired effect.

Thanks for the kind words. And Will and I will discuss!
I had always regarded distortion as somewhat of an enemy, but this has opened my eyes to consider alternative approaches. Thank you as always 👍
Former enemies can become excellent friends. 😉 Thanks so much, Peter.
Brilliant again, Jono. The Modulator module in the MIDI effects is so useful.
Thanks so much, Chris. It really is!
Yesterday I just started testing a Stomp box from Logic on a Synth Arpeggio. And you upload this. Great tutorial as always.
Inspiration alignment! I love it when that happens. 😀
Fantastic, as always! Thank you Jono and Will, these videos are thoroughly enjoyable and informative! Wishing you both a lovely Christmas
Thanks so much, Jez. And to you too.

Absolutely, love that suggestion! Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks so much. I’m glad it prompted some immediate inspiration! That sounds great. Huge thanks as always.
there is such a huge gap in clarity and professionality compared to all other logic tutorials. big thanks for all your videos.
That’s immensely kind, thank you. I’m glad the videos are proving useful.
Quality mate, thank you
You’re welcome. 🙏
love adding saturation/distortion in mixes. gives it some life and power to the sounds. Also your aux delay still has the dry turned on ! 😅
Absolutely, a mix thickener for sure! Oops… well spotted. 🫣
Excellent video - always great content on your channel!
Thank you, Patrick. 🙏

Thanks so much. Ha! Unnnn-sensible? 😉
The Grit pedal is based on The Rat pedal surely?
That’s what I thought.

Namaste

This was great Jono, thank you. 🤍🤍🤍
You’re most welcome! 🏃♂️🦺👞
