I have a problem with the pfsense captive portal in version 2.6.0. Unfortunately, I have to enter the link for the captive portal instead of it appearing automatically to the user - do you know what the solution is?
Couple things for me to make it works 1. enable DHCP on that subnet 2. the DNS server should be hosted on pfsense or in the same subnet (because you cannot access other network before your authenticated, even you have rules like ANY-ANY) 3. Apply firewall / NAT rules 4. Client open a browser and eventually it will redirect you to the portal (perhaps https would make this redirection faster)

Let me have a test on the captive portal first. I do not have experience on it. 😂
