Your images are truly amazing. I understand that you are conveying the context in which the creatures are photographed. Of course, this increases appreciation of both the subject and its' environment.
Thanks for the great videos. How did you achieve such a large depth of field in the last images? Is it a composition of photos or because of the combination of lenses and accessories maybe aperture?
Have you guys ever thought about manufacturing a mobile clip-on lens? Laowa has made macro photography more accessible for amateurs than any company or brand before it. But even more amateurs around the world are limited to using their phones, and the options in this space are unfortunately quite limited, with moment and apexel being the biggest contenders, and the most competitive options having limited distribution (in Indonesia and India). I also can't speak to the optical quality of these clip on lenses, but given Laowa's reputation for flawless optics, I'd be really interested to see what your interpretation of a clip on lens would look like. And I think it would catapult macro as a hobby to new levels of accessibility for less well-to-do photographers around the world.
Excellent, interesting perspective, thank you.
Thanks!
What great tips, simple ideas enthusiastically delivered. Cheers, H
