I bought one for my 7700X system and it's awesome. I have a 4090 in my 7800X3D system so I have a reference point to compare. the GRE is plenty GPU for anyone at 1440p. I cranked ray tracing in Ratchet and Clank and used FSR3 Frame Gen and it's 100+ FPS with every graphical setting maxed out!
I just built a PC with Saphire 7900 GRE for AUD $825 (USD $555) on sale normally $930 for GRE, great GPU combined with 7800x3D. Parts prices are much higher than the US
I was able to get an asus 7900xt for 500 euro with the 100 euro cashback and the store i got it from was doing another 200 discount just for that day 🤩
You only need a GeForce 2 from 2003. They work way better than the new cards and you can duct tape new GDDR6 onto it and it works like a new $1000 card.
@@Webinho7 I love amd , and it’s way better for pure gaming in all ways (except the 4090 which is better than the 7900xtx), I use nvidia for ai and rendering, in which they far excel amd.
Bro If You playing on 1440p take the GRE. It's almost max power that cpu can pull. You will have some bottleneck but nothing serious imho. The 4070 Loses to the 7900 GRE by 20% or more depending on the title in Rasterisation 1080p and about still 15% in 4k. The 4070 wins in Raytracing but surprisingly not by a unplayable amount. The 7900 GRE wins in Rasterisation nearly always by 10-15%, (With outliers like Avatar Frontiers which favours Nvidia hardware and the 7900 GRE loses by 10%) AMD cards from what I have seen atleast also have far more stable and consistent one percent lows.
