Nice introduction to setting up this table saw attachment. A few years ago a good friend of mine gave me a DB200 with a load of machining attachments which I use all the time. I also converted it to CNC. It also has the jig saw and table saw attachments as well. I never had the use for them but now seeing your demonstration I will have to give it a go. Thanks
Thanks 😊👍 I do intend to make videos for all of the accessories I have. Unfortunately finding free time seems to be difficult at the minute and I've neglected my youtube channel a little recently. 😟
@@machinist_matt Next time. Would the blade benefit from higher rpms? Changing the belts might make it spin faster if the motor had enough torque. Thanks for demonstrating this tool; I've never seen one or how it attaches.
@@pixelpatter01 Possibly! To be honest I didn't play around with the speed much. It just happened to cut nicely at relatively slow speed so I left it. The manual suggests optimum cutting is with a 3.5 inch blade at 1600rpm so you may be correct. 😎

Matt, that was a great tutorial. It would be so useful if you could do the same for some of their other gizmo's.

Concerned the the lathe wasn't chewing enough fingers, Unimat introduced a circular saw attachment! Yippee Yay!
🤣 I should probably have used a pusher.
