***READ*** EVERYONE... You do NOT have to hold the two middle rotation points to switch the throw. You NEED to tighter the grip so that it is tight enough to switch the throw by twisting the grip alone. A LOT of people miss this. It is easily mistaken because it seems like the grip shouldn't go past a certain point. It comes loose in the box. I have been told by two people that there's came without the grip even on it. FOR THIS REASON, it could be, you're machines are wearing to quickly because the mechanical parts aren't completely tight and lined up. Mine still works excellent after a year of use. I have replaced the battery twice. Lithium Ion batteries only have about a 3 to 6 month lifespan on average. That is not to say the battery just dies. It will still take a charge and it will still run. But it will not run anywhere close to full capacity or max voltage/wattage. Now there's a TON of factors that may extend the life and also deplete the life. Read up on the batteries. So... if you are using ANY wireless machine every single day, make sure you pay attention to it and know when to buy a new battery. If you find out the exact specs on the battery output, you can use a test meter to see where it's life stands. For these reason, Mummy and other manufacturers offer the "extra battery package" when you buy it brand new. Regular customer service may not be privy to all these details so it might help to call and speak to an actual technician at Mummy to clear up nay misunderstanding and could help you prolong the life of any machine you have.
**Note - The manual that comes with the Machines these days are, most of the time, vague at best. But fear not... we have the internet. BUT, just like in this case, DDT and GEE are also lacking in some information themselves. OR... they may have factory defects. This is NOT a shot at these guys. Just an attempt at heling to clear up these very common widespread misunderstandings.

Doesn’t the package inside say the machine stroke should be adjusted when the battery is turned off? Perhaps Adjusting the stroke while machine being on could have caused the issue…

It says that in big capital letters, printed in a red font.
I just got one of these, I want to see if it's a 4 month machine like Gravyguy says.

Its the adjustable disk inside , all these Chinese production adjustable stroke machines suffer from the same problem .

You might be right about that, I'm going to look into it. I haven't had an issue yet. BUT... Nothing against DDT and GEE but they are missing the fact that you NEED to tighten the grip until you can switch the throw by twisting the grip ALONE. The fact that theirs have been slightly loose for 6 months while running it may be the reason DDT's is now damaged when he dropped his. Or it could be the drop alone. But you have to tighten that grip INDEPENDENTLY Also, I have changed my battery twice in a about a year. Mine is running like new to this day. I just used mine with a #25 Standard Round Mag for about 5 hours straight and it's still packing ink like it was on day one. BUT, the battery is the brain so you have to replace it. It's only around 70 to 90 bucks so it's more than worth changing once the battery starts to go down hill. Like I said in my comment above, I use a voltage/wattage/ohm meter to test the output of the battery every so often. So, once it's starting to fall under it's optimum output, I spend the 90 bucks. Also, the Pharaoh is just as much of a great machine... ESPECIALLY for the price.

Other than noise, how is the functionality of it? Smooth? Junk? Stick with my mast flip? Or go ahead and jump on the Anubis?

If you want, read my comment I posted on this video on August 3rd. I go into a little more detail on things. It should be worth your time. But I have the Anubis and The Pharaoh and honestly, I like them more than a I like a couple of my really expensive machines. I doubt you will be disappointed.
