Kristi, you did a great job.!!! I think that we tend to push ourselves more than we should. I used to have an impossible “To Do “ list on the weekends (maybe 10 years ago) with very little wiggle room. I am an early riser so I would get up and eat a good breakfast to get charged up. I would gear up and go from one thing to the other to the other without stopping. I was on a mission. I would get upset if something unexpected got me off track. Then, eventually, I came to my senses.😳😳😳 I was not being reasonable regarding my time, the flow of the day, or really regarding how taxing it was on my body. Your body will let you know when something is not right or when you need a break and we all should listen to our bodies. Also, we can maintain healthy fit bodies but still know our limitations over time. I started portioning out my tasks. You are not complaining. You are being real. Viewers should see what’s real. I think that they appreciate it when a channel shows reality because real life is not perfect. Also, maybe some can gain knowledge of how to deal with a variety of issues regarding fitness, diet, healing, etc
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers for healing. ❤️ Lillie is loving the snow (icy now)! She doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cold at all. 😊 Thanks for watching and have a great day! 💗
Thank you Reina! I’m working on that. I think I’m getting better at recognizing when I’m reaching my limit before I get there. It’s definitely a work in progress! Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day! 💗
Kristi, I definitely feel for you and after several different surgeries experience pain if I do too much so please don’t feel like you’re complaining. Great to see you and the girls and looking forward to the next video!
Oh wow! I hope you’re doing better now. It’s hard to force yourself to stop sometimes, but I’m getting better at recognizing when it’s time. I think I’ve been continuing to injure things because I’m pushing too hard. Thank you so much for your support. It means a lot to me! I hope you’re having a great day! 💗
Hi Kristi, I could literally watch them all day.💞It’s so interesting how they have such different personalities. You’re a great dog mom. I’m so sorry to hear about your ankle and feet pain. You should definitely take breaks 20 minutes on and then 20 minutes off. You are not a complainer we all have something going on. I take Terry’s Naturals liquid turmeric 1 capsule 3 times a day. I also take curamed with the Terry’s Naturals MSM and krill oil. Traditional Medicinals organic turmeric tea is also very good for inflammation. I hope you feel better soon. I’m looking forward to see how you transform your beautiful house.
Hi Christina! The girls are so different! It is fun to watch the way they interact with the world differently and then how they come together and love each so much. Lillie has been super playful since the day we got her. She was playing with the breeder when we first met her. 🥰🐶 Do you feel like the turmeric and other supplements have helped you much? It may be helpful if I add in a few other things with my routine. Thanks for watching and have a fantastic day! 💗
It really made a difference for me. Turmeric is very good for lowering inflammation. If you decide to try it just make sure by your pharmacist or Dr. that it does not interact with any medication’s you are on if you are on any.
I'm so sorry about your feet and ankles. You did great with everything you did get done. So glad you have a routine that helps until you need to take a break. Your pups are so sweet and definitely a mess. So glad you got your snow day. You're so right about the pups training being different than most breeds. My cousin's son got a boy and she was helping him train. She stepped out of the kitchen for 5 minutes had pulled a roast out of the oven. Came back to an empty pan . Ohh my gosh it was unbelievable how fast he ate a huge roast that had been cooking all day. Needless to say take out was ordered and pup was put in the crate until after supper. Thank you for sharing your cocoa recipe and taking down Christmas decorations. See you next time 🤗💓💕💞
Oh my gosh! That sounds like Ace!!! He did that several times. Once it was a pork shoulder Whitney had been smoking all day. He had gotten up at 4:00 am to get it going! 🤣 It’s hilarious now, but not at the time! Lacie hangs around the kitchen hoping for us to drop something. We never give the girls our food, but Lacie has figured out that sometimes things get dropped. They counter surf now. They would be even worse counter surfers if we gave them food. They just can’t get past their noses! If we drop the tiniest crumb, they’ll go crazy until they find it. Thanks for watching Laura! I hope you’re having a nice day! 💗
It’s when dogs jump up and put their heads on the counter trying to get things. They will even walk along the counter with their heads up there…counter surfing! 🤣🤣🤣
I also use tumeric and ginger Omega fish oil and vitamin D3 is my daily regimen along with plenty of greens with carrots I had an ankle fracture An entire year strengthening and exercising My physical therapist and I exchange what’s great for us We’re in our early 60s Hard to believe! Yes I stay away from sugar altogether Elevate your foot and rest it I hope you can get some pt for your feet! I hope the podiatrist or the orthopedic can suggest what to wear when you’re home Protect your ankles and keep them warm! 😊 Enjoy your hot chocolate 😊 TFS
Oh! That’s good to know. Is your ankle completely healed now? I’m starting some corrective exercises that I think will help. The last few days I’ve been doing some Contrast Therapy (alternating heat and cold) for blood flow. That seems to be helping the pain. I’m going to continue it for a while to see if I notice a big difference. Thanks for watching and have a great day! 💗
@InspiredLivingwithKristi Hi Kristie, yes, hoka shoes are my favourite shoes for walking and day to day living. Before retirement I worked over 30 years standing and walking on thin carpeted concrete. That did a number on my feet, knees and back. Wearing Hoka shoes are extremely supportive and comfortable. They are a bit expensive but well worth it. Many health care professionals wear them as well. Highly recommend 👌

Hi Kristi, maybe try a pair of Hoka shoes for your feet I love them!
Hi Laurie! Thanks for the suggestion! Do you wear Hoka shoes most of the time?
