I wished there was a sequel for IB, Witches House, Mad Father, & Etsc. And their fandom won't wilt if the creator(s) of their games make a funding/kick starter to make more sequel of their RPG story.
Never played any of those because I dont own a computer but I have watched gameplay of the witches house on marks channel

@@wissen5410 YOU GET IT!! the witch's house doesn't need a happy ending to be a great game and story, it's so perfect the way it is. If the creator was to make any kind of "sequel" game I believe it would be playing as Ellen and getting her backstory but that's what the books are for, OR if there was an actual sequel to the game after Ellen lives on as Viola it wouldn't be very fun and probably wouldn't have the best story. I believe the ending was made that way so the player can interpret what they think happens.
Oh my gosh... Let me just say...
The Witch's House is one of my favorite of all time RPG Horror Games and especially my first.
I was terrified of it at first, but then I grew to love it and it really planted the seed for my love of horror, seeing this, so passionately well made, hitting all the points as well as including some of the most iconic scares in there
(But my favorites are the eyes, the skulls, and the soldier)
Not a lot of people love or know this game but oh my goodness, for someone to make something so industrially and recent, implying that there are people out there who still love games like these such as Ib and Mad Father, I truly appreciate you for this

Izzy Swerdlove Yume Nikki is probably the best rpg pixel horror game, in my opinion.
The surrealness and creativity and subliminal messages is amazing, as well as the game's art and design.
It challenges you and it makes you feel like the villain!

Cyber Animations There's a manga that was created based on the written story (a story taking place before the game that is canon, I think) that the Creator of The Witch's House himself created. An artist took that story and made it into a precious amazing thing. Just google "Ellen's Diary, The Witch's House Manga" and boom, you get the gem.
It is UNDERRATED as hell. It's literally one of my favorite mangas. You should check it out.

It's dreadful knowing that Viola dies from the despair of having her life stolen away. Even with death nothing good awaits in the end.

Everytime I listen to this I thought someone was knocking on my door.
This hits different once you actually play the game.(yes I did encounter this before I even knew about the game and yes I technically did get spoilered. Still an enjoyable experience tho)

I don't know about this games, but the character's design let me think of Marisa Kirisame and Reimu Hakurei from Touhou game. The blonde girl looks like Marisa (cause her clothes desgin and color is pretty similar) And the red dress girl looks like Reimu Hakurei (Cause Reimu did wear a headband and her design is red too) XD

The Witch's House (Majo no Ie) is a free puzzle-oriented horror game by Fummy, made with RPG Maker VX.
A 13 year-old girl named Viola has gone to visit her friend, Ellen, who lives in the woods. However, those same woods are said to be haunted by a Wicked Witch who kidnaps children. Viola then wakes up in the middle of a forest, when she finds her way blocked by magical roses, it seems that her only option is to enter the eponymous Witch's House and find a way to break the spell, in hopes of reuniting with Ellen. But the house is ever-changing, and death could be lurking anywhere...
The game is a survival horror game in which the main goal is to solve all puzzles correctly and escape the witch's house.
The wrong selections in dialogue or wrong movements will kill Viola.
It contains a creepy atmosphere, complex riddles and jump scares.
