For the chapatis just put enough oil and the heat was low hence they didn't brown all round...but you've tried

your dough looks soft enough...the secret to soft chapati is kneading with hot water and enough oil then letting the dough rest for an hour or so. I also struggled before i knew this

Try adjusting those curtains...they are alil too long......i don't think the oil dispenser os the issue.....for me ,get a heavy pan and use enough heat....good progress
