@@erock9883 hope you success on your journey. Actually I was following Jeremy's IT Lab UA-cam video course, and I could say 80% of my preparation was that course which is provided by virtual labs(The other 20% came from OCG and exam dumps), so honestly I didn't build many labs on my own, and I think you don't need building your own for the CCNA, there is a plenty online courses out there with pre-build packet tracer labs for CCNA.
I injured my spine back in December 2019 working in a factory. Then the pandemic came. After that I caught a work from home sales job on the phone. That's coming close very soon. Just know that all these IT start up's are crap and you'll work like a dog no matter which path you decide go down. The money in IT generally more than unskilled manual labor depending on your location. It could change your life. Just know that if you don't produce or if your bosses don't like you/the way you work, they'll terminate you. Currently the remote positions are disappearing, most people are now either hybrid or back in office 100%. That's not to say that you cannot find remote, it just takes a little longer and you have to know which position you're looking for and where to find it. I'd encourage you to get out of manual labor asap, a lot of us are forced out due to injury and will live the rest of our lives in chronic pain.

this video helped me a lot; i was considering going for a cybersecurity online bootcamp that teaches you about the field and different operating systems (not a cert-prep program it says) but the extended course is offered at a college-tuition price which did not seem worth it at all after taking the short intro course. after hours of me leaving class and having to fill in the gaps with resources online, i definitely will not be sticking with the bootcamp. great video !
These helped me a lot for someone that is just started!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on my video, I truly appreciate it.
It sounds like CCNA's make pretty good money. I like the sound of that. But cyber security makes more and seems more interesting to me. However, networking is more fundamental so I need to start with networking first before I even think about going cyber security.
Great video and very realistic with positive outlook. I am starting to study today with hopes of passing by Mid September. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Josh, as long as you have a plan in mind, you good to go.
If I got it, and everyone else did, you definitely can.

Thank you for sharing... Very very helpful. I just finished Cisco Network Academy. I have been using Packet Tracer primarily but I like GNS3's features better. I need some help setting up GNS3 on my new PC to do some more labs before I sit for the exam.
Well maybe you are way smarter than me. Thank you this is encouraging and gives me hope.
