Registration of private security guards begins

The government has introduced a Guard Force Number (GFN) to enhance oversight and coordination within the private security sector. Earlier today hundreds of security guards from various private security companies today turned up for the mass registration exercise convened by the private security regulatory Authority.This is in line with the ongoing mandatory nationwide security vetting, training, and licensing of private security officers.
