Compare it with Santro and Kwid then it’s clear ahead in all aspect, considering price difference swift looks too high side so in a way Tiago is winner

Tata should bring back the 4cyl turbo petrol which they used to give in bolt and zest which was supremely refined and performed like a charm.But the only problem was it was not all frugal..😭

I have XZ Plus (flame Red), yesterday drove from Bangalore to my native around 260kms, got avg 22kms mileage. My car is just 6 months old now. Really its fun driving on highways...

I get 16.8 which o consider reasonable based on the traffic here on the highway .
And TBH the steering gets very lighter when it's driven @ over 80kmph and I too have XZ+ dual tone in Tectonic Blue color.

Trust me guys I have seen almost every car in this segment but the dashboard plastic quality and the door is the best in the segment,can't complain on that,but yes rear adjustable headrests should have been provided in the xz and xz+ variants otherwise I have no complain for this car man ,it never feels to make u feel special everytime u sit in the car also if u don't want to go with Tata for some reason go for ford Figo guys but I will not recommend Swift at any cost yes u can go for Ignis instead

@@VarunSrinivas See, I have driven grand i10, Wagon R, what I felt is both of them have better engine smoothness than Tiago. It's not that, Tiago has bad engine, engine is good but the rattling sound is there, and due to heavyweight, engine power feels bit lacking comparatively.

2nd gen swift (2012-2018) was heavier than bs6 Tiago. But still it's performance is much better.

If you compare the engine of Tiago and Swift in terms of power delivery then please mention the kerb weight of two cars. .
Kerb weight of Swift - 875 - 905 kgs
Kerb weight of Tiago - 982 - 991 kgs
Difference 107 kgs to 86 kgs
Weight is a factor but here its not, the problem is with the tuning, 2nd gen swift was nearly same weight but its engine had better tuning, tata needs to tune this engine better for more refinement and performance

Considering the latest and economical marketing trend I would suggest to typical middle class family instead of investing 5-6 lakhs for any supersport or superbikes which is inbetween 400-500 cc plz plz do r&d and just gives a head turner and invest in a right manner atleast grab a four wheel hatch ,plenty are available in the market and as per your choice and perception afford it as per your convenience and keeping in mind the budget.....think 🙏💗

Comparing pre facelift Swift Engine with Tiago...one thing that needs to be taken into consideration is the weight...Tiago's weight is approximately 200 kg more than Swift.
Hence Tiago's engine feels lazy.
