This is beautifully designed, and you've matched the blue very well to the F1 wheel. I'm super impressed, both for working the angle of the magnets, and for not having anything superfluous. For a moment I wasn't watching closely and thought you forgot screws, before I realized that you cleanly reused the original paddle screw for the top!

Yes, the angle was established based on my shifter adjustments, which are pretty conservative, but you'll want the set screw taking the load, and not the magnetic shifter. I'd start with it adjusted too far in and back it off until the magnetic paddles touch, then double check that the switch still activates properly. Check out my shifter tuning video for details on checking the switch adjustment.
Yes, this adds magnets to the springs. The magnets compliment the spring action, turning the linear force required to actuate the switch into a bit of an exponential force. The higher breakaway torque helps prevent half shifts and double shifts/bouncing when you're riding the paddles, without adding stiffer springs.

hey, I ordered these on eBay and you did not send me the 12mm screws, the ones you sent me are much longer than 12mm and does not work...
you sent me 16mm screws instead...
