great videos. im at the stage where i several side shoots at the top and ready to pinch the top for it to bush out. do i leave the leaves below them or take them off? so im just left with the 3 sets of leaves and side shoots at the top? thanks
@@diyhomeandgardening I got severel different ones. The 2 that are doing well and at half standard size which I'm going for is delta Sarah, and garden news. First time having a go at it so thanks for the info
They are both nice varieties. Although classed as perennial type, Delta Sarah can be a bit slow to come back in Spring so give it a little protection if you can. Well done for having a go though. Keep pinching out the top growth to get a balanced head.

Leave all leaves on, just pinch the top. If you remove the leave growth will slow.
