- I'm a carpenter in the middle of fifties. Woodworking is far from my major job. I may stand somewhere between hobby carpenter and expert. So my skill hasn't matured fully and I make many mistakes in the videos. I hope you would forgive me generously.
A late bloomer carpenter's woodworking diary. This is the motto of my channel. I enjoy making furniture and videos. And using my leisure time I make videos and share how I make and my idea that comes to my mind. Those are sometimes childish and sometimes not too bad. What I want is you just enjoy watching one or two of my videos and fly to other channels better than mine.
I'd like to progress my woodworking skills through struggle to make furniture and videos. And I hope those can help you encouraged for woodworking.
Thanks for reading - Навчання та стиль
Your work is from another star. I love to watch you doing the different connections. It looks so easy with you. My head is smoking, I would have to do it. Just fantastic.
You think highly of me. Not really.
Thanks for your encouraging comment sir.
I have done some woodworks in the past but this woodwork plan ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG helps me do much in a far lesser time than i used to do i have already built several projects with this plan and i intend to do many more soon. Thank you so much!

What a delight to watch a true artist in action. I loved every second of this video. Made such an easy work of the tricky joints like the dovetail and the castle jopint. Bravo and thanks J.
Thanks for watching kind comment sir.
Your precision and safety with the bench saw are inspiring.
I learnt a lot from you, thanks!
A week ago he uploaded a video on 3-way leg joinery. Now comes a full video on a project using this joinery. You're great, J!
I'm happy to keep my promise to upload this video. Thanks for visiting again sir.
Excellent craftsmanship is at another level.
Loved watching how master piece is being put to gether.
Thanks for watching sir.
You know, those top leg corners were utterly beautiful. Thank you.
I like the use of splines in the table top and I especially like the 3 way joints at the top of the legs. I am going to try this with my next table project. Thank you for sharing this. Excellent craftsmanship.
I love this project and to see that you made all of the joinery on the table saw is amazing. I admire your skills.
Thanks for watching sir.
Awesome job! I love watching you create your masterpieces, you make it look so easy.

Tremendous Craftsmanship. Incredible attention to detail and planning. Thanks for posting
Love the way you use the wood itself to make measurements on other pieces of wood.
Thank you for sharing such beautiful craftsmanship!
I absolutely Love this gentleman's projects, he has some very classy designs.

Spotless clean workshop is a clue !
I love the precision marking out and then how your skilled hands let's the machines do the work.Clean tight cuts everything just slots in perfect. Great to watch and learn. Thank you very much. You are very Precise and create beautiful pieces.
Thanks for your kind comment sir.
It's a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work. You make it look so easy and I know it isn't. Thank you
Yes, my real woodworking is much harder than in the videos. I omitted many procedures for simple and rapid videos. Too long and complex videos would make you skip or bored. Just joke.
Thanks for watching sir.
I loved the fact that you used regular dimensional lumber. Beautiful job! The joinery and table saw skills were outstanding. I’ll be watching all your content and thank you.
Thanks for your kind comment sir.
Please continue to watch.
I love your work, your creativity and attention to detail. I stand with you, somewhere between hobbiest and expert and enjoy the craft. Many thanks for sharing and inspiring.
I really enjoyed watching all of this. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching sir.
Excellent travail.
Having the precision and the know-how is useful, but also having the electrical equipment... is not within everyone's reach. I learned to use a saw and wood chisels, certainly this way of doing things is longer and more laborious. This in no way takes away from the work I saw on this video, I like the assembly and the way of doing it... Excellent work.
In total agreement. I love watching the old hand work, espexially the Japanese guys but at the same time, I appreciate the modern advancements. As evidenced by my shop. 😂 I definitely have a lot of power stuff that I could get along without! A tool whore if you will.
An excellent job done by a master carpentry. Thank you very much for showing us your skill with wood.
Thanks for watching sir.
Qué chulada de mesa amigo!

Hello Mr. J,
Very nice, practical example of the joinery you showed in the last video. I really like the U shaped wood pieces that lock the ends in place so that no glue is needed. Thank you for sharing the video.

Wow... This is too beautiful to be a workbench!
Am on here on UA-cam searching for DIY table and happy that i found this video!
my husband has just recently rented tools from @t (i wonder if anyone has heard of this) at an amazing fee and we cant wait to make these for our little daughter
so thank you !!
I love your table, the joinery is amazing, it just make me think about the Japanese Pagodas, they look beautiful the table corners and the dove tails braces and the splines cuts at the table saw, excellent workmanship. I really enjoy seeing you work.
Greetings from Korea.
Thanks for watching sir.
Great video, and great processes. I admire your ability to be humble
Thanks for your kind comment sir.
Another great project video, I was hoping you might do one soon to actually show us how you get such nice tight joinery including layout tips and how to set up the saw(s) and other tools to do it. The one big thing I have already taken away from your projects is that I need to process all my stock so it is dimensionally the exact same or as close to it as I can get with my tools.
Right. That's how I work. I make cuts following the dimensions of wood that is previously processed. Penciled lines are not much meaningful. Those are just for reference.
Thanks for watching sir.
Absolutely fantastic. A work of art.
Thanks for watching sir.
So very impressive in design and execution. I honor your skills and talent! Cheers!
Thank you for sharing.. I really enjoyed your video on the worktable.. Great design and skills.

Using the table saw with the jigs for joinery proves you do not need lots of specialized tools. Just knowing the table saw and geometry you are able to wonderful joinery! Nice work J !

What a beautiful table, I also love powermatic, very good quality machinery, thank you from Australia...
Thanks for watching sir.
When you can tell a person has been doing this type of work for way too long... Excellent video and skills.
Just amazing joinery skills J. Very nice again. Good to see you still healthy...be safe friend!

Please be safe from the virus.

Хорошее соединение! Хоть и дольше делать, но зато надежно!
You create beautiful pieces from plain pine,
I'm impressed as always Mr J Sir
Happy to see you again sir.
I visited your Facebook page. You are so energetic. I am impressed much.
Thank you Sir, I'm older now, the crutches & wheelchair get more use, my woodwork projects get smaller in scale. But I have as much fun as I can, even in a wheelchair!
Great job, as usual!!! But I was a little disappointed that you installed the tabletop with screws, I expected a solution without the use of metal.
Sorry about that.
Thanks for watching sir.
Роман Першин I thought the same thing
wood breathes, and screws are probably a better solution to the expansion/contraction issues. i guess you could use dowels or something.
Beautiful work!
Thanks for watching sir.
I have been watching your beautiful works for a while. I think you put the dovetail for the length of the table towards the bottom, it would be stronger if it was towards the top. Still a very lovely piece like always.
I agree with you. I made a mistake. And I couldn't change it. Sorry about that.
Thanks for watching sir.
your skill is beyond mine :D. i just enjoy your working, maybe one day i can follow your skill and having the tools too, thanks for sharing
I hope that day will definitely come to you.

Mr Carpenter ... You are amazing!
Thanks for watching sir.
It's almost a shame to ruin those perfect sharp corners! What a pleasant thing it is to wake up to yet another video on AMAZING Japanese joinery! I could watch you guys day and night.
Es un trabajo exelente. No lleva ningún clavo y los ensambles todo son exactos. Saludos cordiales
That is stunning, I really want to try that design. Well done mate, you have a new subscriber!
Thanks for your subscription sir.
@@j-woodworking9573 Keep up the amazing work :)
Nice trestle table. I enjoyed the video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching sir.
When I saw the slots being made, I didn't figure it would be for the wood keystone! Cool! It's to keep the wood pieces, from the "castle" style cut, in place making them more firmer and from jiggling!
Thanks for watching sir.
I like your honesty and like your video in this world of busy you take time to do the job the best of your ability .
Great saw! Cuts predatory, juicy cut.
thanks for watching sir.
@@j-woodworking9573 Not at all, he is the same, only I have not done anything for a long time, for a completely understandable reason.)))
But I still watch the video with pleasure - you can't run away from yourself.)
Awesome work J woodworking :))))))) the little buildout clips you make are so tedious, clever and worth it for the appearance. Great work!
Thanks for watching sir.
grande maestro, uno podría decir que son las herramientas pero es el ingenio y diseño que marcan la diferencia muy bello trabajo
