The Myrmidon is a little more protective, as that is what the Myrmidon is especially designed for. KAMUI UMBRA is still very protective having said that, even if it sacrifices a little for the sake of it's fantastic appearance :)
Mr. Fischer, greetings! This set looks so amazing! I want to know your opinion about multicolored do-dai: is it normal to wear this on keiko, shiai and certification for shōdan? P. S. It's really important for me. I don't want be a rude for other kendoka especially senseis.
@@aeonl7128 hello, yes, wearing a different colour Do-Dai is perfectly acceptable for Keiko, Shiai, and Grading exams - I myself never wore a plain black Do-dai for grading, or Shiai. It’s not rude at all.
@@krunoslavvrbanic4222 if your budget allows the Kamui UMBRA is overall a higher spec, in terms of materials. Build style and design is similar so I’m confident you’d be happy with either - but I’d definitely say the UMBRA is worth the extra if you can stretch to it 👍
Just got it last week. Feels realy good and looks amaizing. Great job Andy.
Beautiful bogu. The green Do-dai looks amazing.
Fabulous looking bogu set
Thanks looking forward to my next KendoStar Bogu. The original was great, wanting a more special Bogu next.
Will love it. A reward After I finally pass my 3 dan exam...
Certainly has all the looks. I wonder how it compares in terms of protection, against the Myrmidon set?

I am eagerly saving up for it and wondering if it will still be available by the end of May. I must say, it looks absolutely perfect to me!
It looks incredible !
