The entire middle class has officially been gutted because the entire manufacturing industry moved overseas. This government never invested in educating workers, they shifted focus to teaching kids how to get ready for college. Back in my HS days, we had wood shop, machine shop, HVAC, welding, auto shop, computer science, coding, all these were there to get kids ready for work, no college needed. Now, these jobs are gone. The same will happen in Latin America too.
