  • Hey guys! I have a little something different today. This old work truck needs to be cleaned up to look like new and I am determined to get these old stains out of the seats! I’m going to be using my Bissell SpotClean Pro to see if it can handle a tough job like these 22 year old stains. In this video I’ll be doing some light car detailing like vacuuming, wiping down all the plastic in the car and of course extracting as much of the dirt that I can out of the seats. Let’s see what the Bissell SpotClean Pro can do!
    (THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPONSORED. THIS IS MY OWN OPINION ABOUT THIS PRODUCT)

    I couldn’t tell if you where doing this but when your extracting the fabric make sure you keep the trigger down, that will help A LOT in getting the gunc out, it’s also helpful if you use hot water to help agitate the grime, I’m a professional detailer and these are just some of the tips I figured I’d let you know. 👍

    My suggestions:
    Use a pump-sprayer to saturate the seats. Dose them. Agitate, then one round of extractor. If the stains are still there, then use 8:1 Super Clean on them, soak them, then do it again. It’s magical. Don’t overdose the pump sprayer. It will have so much carpet shampoo that it’ll take forever to extract.

    • @contentlyliving7205
      @contentlyliving7205  2 роки тому +1

    Sista girl, I don't see how anyone could have any advise for you. You did a heck of a job from beginning to end. You appear to be a seasoned detailer. Your skills and knowledge are top notch. Yeah, as one dude said, hot water is better for extractions but my question is "how did he even know you wasn't using hot water". Your seats and carpet came out so clean. This video goes to show that a $900.00 hot water Mytee extractor is not a requirement. Nice video and I did subscribe to your channel. Thanks and God bless.

    I really want to get one of these. May I ask your opinion, or anyone else with one... How long does it take to dry? I live in a very cold area. Could i just leave the car running with the heat on for an hour or so? I don't want it to mold.

      If you extract it over and over again, most of the water will be sucked out. So it will dry quicker. One hour with heater on will dry it definitely. But I usually keep all the doors and windows open.

    I would not use the Yellow brushes. i would use the gentle white brushes. they wont damage the fabric.

    How many times did you have to refill the machine while using it?

    • @contentlyliving7205
      @contentlyliving7205  2 роки тому

      Hey Jordan, I refilled it twice I believe. The clean water tank is a little on the smaller side and when you’re constantly spraying water it will empty pretty quickly. Just a little something to keep in mind 🙂

      @@contentlyliving7205 how many seats did you use it on? Just trying to get an idea of how far the machine will go.

      @@jordankeller1017 I only used it on the front 2 seats. It’s a pretty small truck so anything bigger you’ll probably be refilling a few times. No worries, ask any questions you need. The link is in the description box of the video and you can look at more review comments if you need to there

    Might be better to get some proper carpet cleaning products to get the best results , not sure the Bissell solution is suitable for car seat extraction and cleaning

    I have one and I feel like the suction sucks. The amount of water sucked out is nothing close to the amount of water sorted out :(

    • @contentlyliving7205
      @contentlyliving7205  Рік тому +1

      Oh no! Are you putting enough pressure behind it? Sometimes it just needs to be pushed down a little closer to the fabric to get all of the water out. Hoping that helps some! ☺️

    Quite freaky to think most of that dirt is human skin, so after 20 years you've essentially made a leather chair out of your own skin! O.o
