Mrs.Kalyani vallath. She's extraordinarily dramatic in her lecture in which I fell in love to learn about the authors and their historical background. 🥰😊
Ooohhhh....this *Alfred Lord Tennyson* is the person who wrote the famous poem *ULYSSES* which we studied in UG with more fond and interest. And that favorite line of all... *To strive To seek To find and not to yield.* 👏👏👏👏👏😊 Gr8 Mrs.Kalyani Vallath... Brought back all my UG memories in just one line of this fellow *Tennyson*🥰

Mam whatever you do is awesome 👌 The only request is the video where your voice and clear explanation are not there , needs extra time. Coz I have to sit for them. Therefore if you can make quizzes where you explain every aspect, turns out to be a great help🙏🙏#🙏gratitude#love#respect
"The Defence of Lucknow" (1879): This poem celebrates the British soldiers who fought and died to defend the city of Lucknow during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The poem can be seen as imperialistic because it justifies British rule in India and portrays the Indian rebels as savages.

11:33 ayyo 😂 “Aiyo” is a common term in the major Dravidian languages of South India, including Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. The word may come from Tamil aiyō, Kannada ayyo, Malayalam aiyyo(അയ്യോ), or Telugu ayyo, but it could also come from Sinhalese ayiyō.
It's request that you won't make little videos because with short videos Concepts won't be clear. Your long lectures provide a clear picture in my mind and everything easily can get it. Please please keep continue 🙏 i beg for this. 😢 I haven't anyone to help except you because i belong far flung area so your way of teaching is like an angle in dark. 😢😢

Encyclopedia can be bought from bodhitreepublications.org. Important poems are explained there. You can read them online. There's a set of 8 objective questions books from Bodhi Tree which are very popular. Crossing the Bar is one of the last poems and it anticipates Tennyson's death.

Good evening ma'am
Was Tennyson the first or fourth child out of 12 children?
He has elder brothers who were poets. He was the 4th child. Did I say it wrongly?
