A rare and sought after ficus, this is the national tree of India because supposedly Buddha was under a Ficus Audrey when he received enlightenment. Also can grow to be one of the largest trees in the world in terms of canopy coverage. . It has very beautiful, velvety leaves and is a perfect plant for bright homes. Your correct and that was a fun and interesting fact I didn’t know! Thanks for the video ! Helpful and appreciated
I just bought two of these plants from Costco they are about the size of yours. I love them…you are right they are super easy and the Fiddle ficus is overrated lol…I have mine outside the patio and I mist them a couple times a week. In terms of ficuses, I think this plant, the rubber plant and the weeping ficus are the 3 easiest plants to care for.
Thanks for the video, I just adopted one of these beauties and my room is in a basement with one NW facing window, is that going to be enough light for the plant ? I have a little bit direct sunlight like you said in the afternoon but there are many trees by my house, if my plants start telling me they need more light i also have a grow light set up in my bathroom!
I had no luck with my ficus Audrey. When I got her she had a few leaves, I water only when necessary but she keeps dying and coming back. She looks good one day and the next day lousy! She’s still in nursery pot I got her in! So annoyed 🤦🏻♀️I want her to look like yours😞
Just want to thank you for this video because whew 😅 I have been truly trying my best to manage my Queen Audrey! I now know that I need to chill out on the water lol
My mom has a limit on the amount of plants I can keep in my room😩which is so so so sad. We don't actually have a nursery I wish I did it's my dream to own a nursery one day.... I love your channel by the way!!!
My ficus audrey was and is still dropping leaves at an alarming rate! I just re-potted to try and save it but i dont understand what is happening! Any tips on why it would be turning yellow, then brown and drop? It is in a west facing window, and i allow the dirt to dry bewteen waterings. How dry does the soil need to be, do you stick the moisture meter all the way to bottom of the pot? At times the top of the soil is dry but the moisture reader shows moist to wet in the lower end of the pot. It is about 3.5 to 4ft tall, would 1 litre of water be sufficient every 10-14 days? Thanks for any help

Your home must be green-filled, wall to wall! Do you work at a nursery or does your family have a nursery?
