I didn't realise before that she could be interesting to use with Hoederer. I actually think her design is pretty cool but already own Hibi and Reed so I didn't feel like building another murdermedic for the time being. I actually like how her S2 fixes a weakness of the class, being that it can actually allow her to heal while ranged enemies are peppering your operators, despite no enemies being in range. Ofc Reed can kinda do this too if her explosions spread far, but you still need enemies in range to start doing that and then there needs to be a congo line of enemies to reach the ranged enemies so it simply isn't practical or reliable compared to Vendela S2.
Have a Vendela showcase! A bit late, but some things occurred and I couldn't upload it earlier. She's fun to use imo, giving anyone a Thorns effect is great and our first case of giving someone else Taunt (+1 Taunt, specifically). It'd be nice to pair her with Lava2 for the Max HP targetting, if only I built her... She works best against lots of rapid attacking small fry, but I feel like the numbers are just slightly not there and although she's not *bad*, she's definitely the worst of the 3 so far. If you could helidrop S2, or it lasted 30s, it'd be a really nice niche tech tool (DoS phase 2 comes to mind, redirecting Embers would be so much easier even without Mlynar). If S2 hit for 100% of her ATK instead, that'd also be good since she only heals for about ~30% of her ATK per reflect before RES, and that'd both bump up the damage and buff it to ~60%. Talent isn't really impactful since you could take a better healer instead, but if you already have a lot of healing then she can see use (especially since it's multiplicative if you use Nearl or some other healing buffs). Also she was cute in the story! Shame she had to kill that Sarkaz that liked her flowers...
Okay, i will do the dirty work here (because i feel guilty that i nearly blow more than 20 pulls for her, and only her, on her banner, for her E2 art yet i hesitated to build her !!!) because i have some free time. First, lets assume that vendela have 1000 atk stat, S2 M3, mod lvl 3, and about to activate her Skill 2. After skill activation, she would then have 1800 atk stat, her choosen ally will deal 900 atk as reflect damage, her choosen ally will be healed for 540 hp, her talent will boost that heal up to ~664 hp. Vendela herself will deal 1080 heal per atk with S2 on. Now... lets get real... Vendela's actual atk stat at optimum investment (E2 50, mod3, Pot1, 100% trust) is... 576 (+22 at Pot4, +42 at Max level) A nearly damn half the number of my example. So the actual things that happened when she use S2, are : Vendela have 1034 atk stat (1152 at max) her choosen ally will deal 517(576) reflect damage, her choosen ally will be healed for 310(345) and after her talent, they actually got healed by 381(424), for each attack received... during S2, vendela herself will heal for 763(850) atk. also, these are all BEFORE enemy's res.. also also, gavial the original can give you relatively the same amount of heal for the same (or even lower) investment. So, do i ditch vendela? Yes, as of now. I might just built her later tho, considering i already have savage and folinic at E2 for uh... unknown reason.

He advised Vendela to get out of the town but she refused, and only after learning the reason for the Sarkaz's visit (to turn the whole town into a vampire altar or something like that) she decided to tell others but was stopped by the same Sarkaz man who asked her to kill him to let her procede with helping people
@@vanzeralltheway8638 Yeah, that's kinda why I have an issue with her kit. If she focused more on giving Taunt (longer duration/helidrop), or had better healing from S2 (preferably through damage), it'd be a lot better. At least Mod1 is a cheap buff to the healing.

There was this one Sarkaz who was assigned to watch over her shop, and I'm not sure if he liked her or just really liked the flowers she had (since Kazdel is war-torn), but he'd always go easy on her, protecting her from the other Sarkaz and talk about the flowers. She didn't really get why he was being kind though, but eventually he even helps her escape by saying "Yeah things are about to go down tomorrow, you can leave now along this route, just give me a rose before you leave". She decides not to leave but to stay and help the resistance fight, so he comes over the next day and tells her that he has to transfer elsewhere and someone else would come watch over the shop (and probably destroy all the flowers). He says he won't let her go out to fight the Sarkaz unless she manages to stop him, and gives her the scissors that she uses for trimming flowers. Next thing we know she's escaped and she has blood on her hands. Haven't read her files yet but she never even thought about him after that, poor Sarkaz bro. At least he got to die surrounded by what he loved, instead of just going to the front lines.
The idea is tempting... maybe if I bothered to stream every IS run I did lol (or just wasn't as lazy). Glad you managed to find my videos though, you're a community icon (for better or for worse, haha).

If you want to be technical, Hibi2 S2 can still damage someone that's walked out of range, and Reed2 can slightly cheat range with S2 and definitely cheat range with S3. Medicmiya just released can also heal without an enemy in range with her talent and with S1 though, although it's only part of S1 and she needs to attack *something*, just doesn't have to be an enemy.

yeah, HG's language can sometimes feels... weird. This is how i read it "this reflect damage that the ally do, will now also [heal based on 50% of damage dealt] for the ally" because [heal based on 50% of damage dealt] is incantation mdeic's trait and, for some reason, HG decided to cut some words and use [her trait] instead of actually explaining what the skill actually do directly... Sigh...
She can help, yeah. You give her more reflect damage, taunt to make sure enemies hit her if they weren't already (special targeting aside), and help heal her.
It applies her trait, so it should. S2 goes on the target with max HP as well, so assuming you don't deploy anyone healthier the upgrades should also help, although it's not as effective as the base module is even ignoring the other benefits.

This is the only skills which allows heal upon hit + return damage that would have map-wide/global effect on appropriate situation.
