One of the best endings to a series EVER. The writers listened to what we wanted to see and delivered. Jonah and Amy have another child together and are married, Dina and Garrett together, Jonah working for city council and Amy at corporate. It's literally just so artistically edited together - you could watch the BBQ scene a million times and probably still miss some of the little details they put in it! One of my favourite shows of all time.
That was a fantastic touch. Lot of fans wanted Amy to do a moment of beauty scene to win back Jonah or propose to him but I think that would have been a bit too sappy and sentimental for this show. This was actually a beautiful way to show how they have transformed a moment of beauty into a lifetime of beauty.
SAME!!!!! I was like "awe!!!" And my husband didn't understand why I thought it was such a sweet moment, and then I told him how it was from the pilot when they 1st met.
Cried to this.. This was such a perfecting ending. I’m glad everyone stayed friends and we got to see where they went in the future, in work and relationships. I was especially happy for Jonah and Amy who were always meant to be together. Thanks Superstore for the laughter, happiness, and lessons. One of the best shows of all time.

That BBQ scene is absolutely perfectly executed! You see how everyone stayed close and how they even grew after ending at Cloud 9. Amy and Jonah: working for city council, as an exec at a new company, had a third child together! And emma going to college in Chicago! Glen: opening his own hardware store working with Cheyanne and Mateo. Mateo: clearly got married and marriage means he is safe, he can become a citizen which was his dream. Cheyenne: her and Bo are still together and they look so grown up now!!! Garrett and Dinah: they look so happy together, it looks like Dinah could be possibly pregnant but I like to think that Garrett’s been adopting a lot of birds for her. Sandra: her adoptive son and Jerry are looking good! Looks like she got a better relationship with Carol.

I’m seriously in awe of how well they wrapped this up. Literally halfway through the last episode I was thinking “how are they going to tie up everything so fast?” and not only did they do that, they did it perfectly. Honestly couldn’t imagine a better ending. Can’t stop watching. :,)
I think the thing that got me the most was that despite their rough relationship, Sandra and Jerry are happily playing a game with Carol and she was even invited to the barbecue as their FRIEND and that is the exact moment I started choking up, I love this show so much man, I'm gonna miss it so much.
This series finale is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on TV. Also want to give a shout-out to Bret, who stayed in the show for 6 years and only ever had ONE LINE--"Oh, shit". Low-key my fave character.
Honestly, it’s very wholesome that almost every recurring or minor character was incorporated in the final ending scene. It’s a sappy interpretation , but it’s almost like saying that no matter if you’re as problematic as Marcus, or as annoying as Justine, you still are worth being accepted and included. And I really loved that. In a story about the minimum wage workers who most of us ignore and disregard, I think this story ending with all these included is really meaningful.
I loved this ending because it doesn't follow the stereotypical: "Main character flies off into the sunset for new opportunity" - every show in the history of TV has done that after each finale. Here: Amy leaves, COMES BACK, fights for her store, and ends up moving back to St. Louis and starts her life with Jonah and their family. And everyone pretty much stays in St Louis (different jobs) and hangs out like they've done at Cloud 9. Perfect ending. Well done Justin Spitzer.
Loved this ending and Glen reopening Sturgis and Sons after spending so much of his life working for the heartless corporation that drove his father out business was just the cherry on top.
There will never be another show like superstore. Superstore is and was amazing show. The writers did an amazing job. And the way they summarized everything in the end, couldn't have done better.
Cried in this also. What I’ll miss most is the pitch perfect cast. You can’t replace or take away anyone that would have made this show better. Even the bit parts. Marcus, Justine, Carol were so well done. They were all like family at summer camp and all good things come to an end.
I can't believe that's it...I just got into this show and now it's gone. But I couldn't have asked for a better ending than this. Absolutely perfect and beautiful (and emotional!!)
I started watching this show for comic relief, and now I'm alone crying at 3pm because this was such a beautiful ending and it really couldn't have been more perfect, I'm just so sad to see it go but this final scene leaves me at peace and I will take that over a cliffhanger anyday. Thank you Superstore, for the countless laughs, and the countless smiles you brought me.
Now that’s how a TV series should end. I hate it when the final episode is a cliffhanger or it feels like there could be another episode. I have to say that is one of the best endings to a TV series I have ever seen.
I was already crying but the stars on the ceiling just broke the dam completely...love too that they gave Garrett the final scene, he was always kind of the conscience of the show
Amy and Jonah together Sturgis and Sons with Mateo and Chy Sandra being an assistant manager to Dina Elias being the serial killer foot guy. 10/10 finale. I was nervous because it seemed rushed but they did what a lot of shows fail at and created a fulfilling and touching series finale.
I never thought this would become my favorite show after watching one episode because I took a little break from the Office. I fell in love with these characters and stories. All of the suspense and endings over the years were worth it. Best finish ever to the best show ❤️❤️
Me too! I went in to just casually watch something so I didn't just watch the Office for the hundredth viewing, and this now ranks among my favourite shows of all time. This was just the perfect ending to an incredible show!
I get a lump in my throat at the 45 sec mark, right where the montage starts. The music sets in and the tears flow. Justin Spitzer, thank you for creating this gem. Superstore was never an awards darling or the "cool show" and it didn't have to be. Like America said they had the freedom to be whatever they wanted and I'm just glad I got to be there for the ride. A 6 year ride.
Fully agree with your thoughts!! The music they selected is just so perfect for this ending. I think I’ll be listening to this often, and I’m sure every time I’ll think of this beautiful montage.
Few shows have ever "hit me" right the feels when they run their course. The office, parks and rec, new girl and now Superstore is added to that list. Legit had me leak a few tears at the end there. Just wish we could've gotten another season or two to really cement some of the endings. Like i would have liked to have see dina and garret together as a couple for a full season. Mateos wedding..etc...
It’s felt as nostalgic as the ending of the breakfast club. Just a bunch of different people from all backgrounds becoming family and best friends in the end of their journey
This show is really perfect, from the small details like Amy’s different name badges in each episode, the funny tag lines under Spitzer Holding Company at the end of each episode (I have to pause just to read them), to the comic relief with the extras doing outlandish things and no dialogue, to the big things like the reoccurring severed feet (they pop off like acorns), and the moments of beauty. I cried so much at this beautiful finale to wrap up such an amazing show.
It’s crazy how they wrapped everything up so perfectly in the span of 2 minutes, says a lot about the talent of the writing Dpt this show had, watched it bc I ran out of series to watch during covid and I couldn’t have been more surprised at how well executed this show was 👌🏼
2:08 I love the ending with the star stickers on the roof cause it calls back to the first episode when Jonah put start on the roof of the stars , they really have come a long way .
I dont even know how to explain my reaction to the ending. When Garret gave his speech I also reflected on memories made with coworkers at multiple different low wage jobs I've had; during and outside of work. It's such a beautifully well put speech describing how shitty the jobs could be at times, but how amazing the people there could be and how they could enrich your life for the better despite how difficult everyone would be doing financially. Excellent job by the writers.
What a great ending to a very funny show, Superstore is one of my favorite comedies. Quirky, silly and the one liners were hilarious! The closure was done brilliantly as well. Thanks NBC, one of your best shows ever.
I finished my first watch of Superstore a couple days ago and it's the only show in a long time where I got shivers watching the ending - the song, the outro, the scenes all just perfect harmony
Finally watched this because it came out on Netflix and I’ve never seen a more emotional but also happy and satisfying ending to a television show, truly beautiful
What an epic show it is and brilliant ending. Hats off to the actor's , writer's , and all those involved in this series. Thank you for entertaining us🙏
I'm SO happy that Amy and jonah ended together. And so did dina and Garrett. Most of the shows, the main characters would leave the show or would not end up with their love ones. But this show gave me above and beyond. It literally listened to every little thing we wanted and made it come true. I'm so ready for a re-watch. Bring it on!
Me too! I never re-watch a show right after finishing it but I've just never liked a show this much. The ending is just so perfect, I don't have words. My favourite part is that Dina and Garret are together, at some point I thought it was never going to happen but the writers really delivered. Perfect show, perfect ending!
I'm glad when certain shows come to an end. I hate when shows go on longer than they should and you can pinpoint the moment that it should have stopped. Even with "Superstore" ending after only 6 seasons, the final episode was one of the best series finales in recent years. Especially this clip. The way their futures were arbitrarily forced into the moment as though everyone had their epiphanies at the last moment of what they were going to do. But the quick bits where we saw everyone's future and how close they all stayed. Even Dina seemed to be getting along with her team at the end. It was a beautiful sendoff to a great show and executed perfectly.
I just watched the series finale. I am in tears, especially, the very last montage. Then the stars in the ceiling. So happy Amy and Jonah are together and everyone is friends. This show gave me lots of laughter. I will miss it.
i only found out about this show a week ago because its extremely underrated, but i am SO GLAD i did. this show is literally one of my favorites, and they could not have ended it in a better way. i honestly didn’t think i would cry at all during this show, but there i was 6 hours ago watching this finale for the first time crying my eyes out
so it's my nth time watching this absolutely beautiful montage, and at first I wondered (and cringed, let's be honest) why they weren't wearing masks, only realizing it's because it's all set in a hopeful future where the virus and masks are ancient history 🥺
My heart!! 💗💔 this show... it was everything!! I absolutely loved the gags, characters, story’s.. everything!! I can’t believe it’s ended but it’s ended in such a good way!! One of my favourites!! 💗💗
I recently discovered this show. I don't understand why the IMDb rating is low. This show is a masterpiece, not even a single episode was boring, loved the simplicity and non glamour approach to the characters, it felt so real. They looked like any of us. It was a PURE delight to watch Jonah and Amy on screen as a couple, great chemistry and they definitely had good fun. Hope we get to see them as an onscreen couple in future sitcom shows. All the Actors were amazing..Dina, intense and no-nonsense assistant store manager! Mateo’s frustration with style & boyfriends, Cheyyane laughter & blonde moments, Garret’s sarcasm,Marcus’s dim wit moments & chants and Sandraa…she was on fire! Really sad the show has ended. Though the finale was good it would have been great if we saw them GETTING MARRIED❤ and the other episode Barbecue at Glenns!
I did not expect to cry at this finale. This was one of the best done finales, it’s so rare I’m so his satisfied with with one of my favorite shows ending. Everything was perfect!
There are just a few times when a show is so aptly and beautifully wrapped up, that it makes you sigh with contentment - this was one of those rare moments. LOVED Garrett's closing speech and yes, I bawled my eyes out like most people here:) And the choice of Song for Zula for the closing scene was perfect:) THANK YOU!
Such a perfect end. So bittersweet but after a tough year I'm happy to see my favourite characters see some sunshine and make new memories, especially after surviving retail hell.
I think what the final made even more emotional that the storyline of season 6 took place during the pandemic and seeing a happy ending for this show gives us the audience hope
This! The ending will always be special because of how wonderfully it was written, but for those of us who watched it during its initial run...watching that backyard party scene me nostalgic and gave me hope at the same time. It brought on an extra layer of emotions on top of an emotionally packed final 10 minutes.

I've just finished the show for the first time, i absolutely enjoyed it. I can't wait to rewatch the whole show again
American Auto is actually a lot like Superstore. Marcus is on it and now Jonah is actually on the show as well.
I’m sad man, honestly one of my fav shows ever
Yeah
The nice thing is that all the episodes are on Peacock, ready to be watched back whenever you feel like it.
This show will always hold a place in my heart.
This shit was so beautiful
I was just about to start crying for the 50th time regarding the Superstore finale but your comment has me HOWLING! 🤣 Thank you!
Yeah
Cried in this also. What I’ll miss most is the pitch perfect cast. You can’t replace or take away anyone that would have made this show better. Even the bit parts. Marcus, Justine, Carol were so well done. They were all like family at summer camp and all good things come to an end.
I can't believe that's it...I just got into this show and now it's gone. But I couldn't have asked for a better ending than this. Absolutely perfect and beautiful (and emotional!!)
Yeah
Bro I just finished rewatching the whole show took me a week but it was worth it
2:11
Stars on the ceiling first ever episode,
6 seasons later, stars on the ceiling last episode
Awww. I just saw the picture of Myrtle hanging u p at Sturgis and Sons. What an amazing show.
Amy and Jonah are going to have so many stories to tell their kids
stop this made me tear up
I started watching this show for comic relief, and now I'm alone crying at 3pm because this was such a beautiful ending and it really couldn't have been more perfect, I'm just so sad to see it go but this final scene leaves me at peace and I will take that over a cliffhanger anyday. Thank you Superstore, for the countless laughs, and the countless smiles you brought me.
Now that’s how a TV series should end. I hate it when the final episode is a cliffhanger or it feels like there could be another episode. I have to say that is one of the best endings to a TV series I have ever seen.
Just noticed Glenn kept Myrtle’s photo from the store.
Best series finale ever. Thank you for sharing.
I was already crying but the stars on the ceiling just broke the dam completely...love too that they gave Garrett the final scene, he was always kind of the conscience of the show
Garrett was speaking at the start of the show, that's why he's speaking at the end :D
@@BA-ro6rl true
For being rushed this was a fantastic finale, 10/10
Amy and Jonah together
Sturgis and Sons with Mateo and Chy
Sandra being an assistant manager to Dina
Elias being the serial killer foot guy.
10/10 finale. I was nervous because it seemed rushed but they did what a lot of shows fail at and created a fulfilling and touching series finale.
...and Bret still doesn't say anything and never changes his expression. That man is a god.
Also i'm getting my future kids glow in the dark stars for sure
I actually spoiled myself to see if Simmosa was endgame and thank the lord 😍😍😍😍
is no one gonna talk abt the fact that amy and jonah had a child together called carter at 2:01 ??
parker and carter. amy hates her children
Amy sets her children up for failure. Parker and Carter. Two last names seriously??
Jonah mentioned liking the name Carter in an episode too. I love the little callbacks.
parker dubanowski and carter simms 😭
@@zara.1212 Lmaooo😭
It’s crazy how they wrapped everything up so perfectly in the span of 2 minutes, says a lot about the talent of the writing Dpt this show had, watched it bc I ran out of series to watch during covid and I couldn’t have been more surprised at how well executed this show was 👌🏼
Good writing beats a dragged out show and a bad ending
Really happy they brought back Amy. It wouldn’t have been the same without her.
I worked at a target store for over 10 years, most of my friends that I currently were at one my co workers. This ending really got to me 🥲
2:08 I love the ending with the star stickers on the roof cause it calls back to the first episode when Jonah put start on the roof of the stars , they really have come a long way .
Excellent job by the writers.
when tv shows do it right it’s spectacular
What a great ending to a very funny show, Superstore is one of my favorite comedies. Quirky, silly and the one liners were hilarious! The closure was done brilliantly as well. Thanks NBC, one of your best shows ever.
"A moment of beauty"
I was so happy that they included Myrtle in this 😭
I finished my first watch of Superstore a couple days ago and it's the only show in a long time where I got shivers watching the ending - the song, the outro, the scenes all just perfect harmony
The entire final scene made me cry but the scene with Myrtle holding the bike wheel just made me cry like a baby 😭😭😭
Show was cut short but ended right. I'm gonna miss it and all the unique characters.
Finally watched this because it came out on Netflix and I’ve never seen a more emotional but also happy and satisfying ending to a television show, truly beautiful
I binged for 2 weeks and was sad when it was over. What a great show!
💕
I cry every time I watch this scene. I loved the show.
The glow in the dark stars!!🥺🥺😩😩😭😭😭😭😍😍😍😍
I will miss it.
i only found out about this show a week ago because its extremely underrated, but i am SO GLAD i did. this show is literally one of my favorites, and they could not have ended it in a better way. i honestly didn’t think i would cry at all during this show, but there i was 6 hours ago watching this finale for the first time crying my eyes out
I just finished it today truly touched by the ending
@@brittnylaurel i’m so glad it ended the way it did
@@bladeefan3333 me too, its the one off the best endings i’ve seen in a while
This show has taught me that it doesn't matter where you are, that somewhere, is still a family 💞
Thank you, cloud 9, have a heavenly rest 💙☁️
so it's my nth time watching this absolutely beautiful montage, and at first I wondered (and cringed, let's be honest) why they weren't wearing masks, only realizing it's because it's all set in a hopeful future where the virus and masks are ancient history 🥺
Compared to most shows of this generation this is the best ending to shows I've seen.
Voiceovers never fail to make me cry.
I KNOW RIGHT?!?! It honestly gave me more laughs than a lot of the more stream line nbc comedies. These laughs were on the rewatch as well.
What an amazing ending, I'm really glad they completed Superstore the right way. I loved how Garrett was talking over it the whole time. FIVE FIRES!!
I worked at Walmart for 2 years, this was more than just a show. THANK YOU!
I worked there for 3 years. That’s why I found the show so relatable.
A heartbreaking ending that brought me to tears of joy. 6 seasons ain't enough. Totally underrated series 😢
This show is the reason I survived at Walmart so long! I donno what I’m going to do now 😭😭
my favourite ending ever. I cried legit tears. I say legit cause I've never cried at TV shows before. But it was so well done and i was so happy for everyone so i just died lmao 😭😭😭
That last "Cloud 9, is now closed." line seriously hits me in the feel everytime I hear it. I can't believe it just ended.
The song is "Song For Zula" by Phosphorescent if anyone is wondering
And THIS is how you end a tv show properly.
absolutely 💯 percent
This scene was just perfect. The part that was really touching was seeing Carol part of the BBQ. Even after everything everyone went through, Carol was still able to tag along and call them friends 😭
She finally got on the right combination of meds.
watched this like so many times, tears for this.. I cant stop thinking about the journey from s1 to s6. superstore cant be replaced, one of the best and I love that Marcus was finally invited to the party.
😢 a teary eyed ending for this series i really enjoyed it ...Superstore Forever!!!!
Kudos to the show writers for giving the fans the ending we asked for ❤️
Such a positive and diverse ending for an amazing Series❤️ ... the end credit is what the world needs today
Watched it this year and became my comfort show through my whole school semester and when I finished it I really cried so hard because I don't know they just became part of me
I didn't even know the show was ending. As I was watching, I was getting finale vibes. Then I paused to look it up..it was sad to see. I just finished it and started tearing up. I love this show and brought so many laughs. So many good moments. ❤
