    All these constables should be charged for a section 26.

    Sending 6 officers to arrest a single non violent individual is complete overkill! Looking @ cars, Police officers and through shop windows is now a criminal offence!
    Don't these Police have better things to do with their time, like fighting real and violent crime!
    Perhaps they're frightened that chasing real criminals that they'll get injured?

    Why was he have a good look at the piece of paper he took out of the bag. Surely that can't be classed as something you would go equipped to steal a car with 🙄🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👊

      @Crazy-Caveman-qh2dz folded up white stick in back pocket. Was legally blind. Wasn't completely blind but enough to sometimes require an aid.

    Because of Crown Immunity you cannot sue individual Officers - only the Chief Constable.

    • @Shaun-n1q
      @Shaun-n1q 20 днів тому

      Wrong. It’s harder. Go check out Crimebodge. Police officers in the UK are subject to the same laws as the rest of us.
      Technically they are not legally immune to charges of assault or manslaughter.

    • @Paul-sk2dj
      @Paul-sk2dj 20 днів тому +2

      Oh, you absolutely can sue individual officers. There was a ruling not so long ago which confirmed officers are responsible for their own actions and private prosecutions have been brought against individual officers! The courts don’t like it, they take eons to actually resolve and usually they place judges they know are going to either find a way to dismiss it or deal with it as leniently as possible but you absolutely can go after individual officers if you really want too.
      The problem is, on a practical level why would you? If you win and get substantial damages, are you going to see any of it?!? At least suing the chief constable you know they’re insured and you will actually be compensated.
      The flip side to that though, as it transpires, is that quite often individual officers aren’t typically followed up with, they carry on behaving like the dicks they are and then walk away with a full pension blissfully unaware they even cost the taxpayer (as with all insurance, the more claims they have to make on it the more expensive it becomes).
      Unfortunately, unless you’ve millions sat around you can think of no better use for than dedicating to costing an abusive police officer his house and life savings for abusing their powers, they pretty much know there will never be any personal comeback….. which is why this shit continues unchecked.

      Crimebodge literally proves how to sue them individually

      It's time this was made clear that your best option is not to complain to the plod as a service but actually take a personal civil complaint against individual plod. Their oath says as much as they're individually responsible for their actions.as it's I will do such and such not WE will do such and such. And I've checked and Leicestershire plod swear the same oath as all the other forces do

    It was crazy for him to stick his head in the lion's mouth but...he did not touch cars, open doors, break into, steal off or steal out of nor drive away - so no Breaking into nor entering, nor theft of articles and no car theft.
    He was arrested under interference - what did they expect to find in his rucksack ? a patrol car ? maybe just a headlamp.
