I kinda hate that in movies like this, they say that the protagonist will clearly win because she has passion, but dude, the antagonist is clearly passionate as well???? I'm sure that Camia has been studying ballet since she was a little kid and probably has as much or even more callouses and wounds on her feet than the protagonist has. Even this trailer shows how much effort Camia is putting in her craft. This movie better celebrate the hard work that these two girls are doing rather than pitting them against each other.
Camille has been studying hard but all isn't what it seems. When you see the movie, it'll all make sense!
Yeah but I seen Yuri on Ice (just some anime I'm watching) and I can relate this trailer with that series and I can understand that the UNPOPULAR CAN BEAT THE POPULAR by trying hard without giving up.💃

As much as I want to watch this, I feel like I need to stress a few things. You cannot get a leading role, when you are a complete beginner, and you are competing with a highly trained dancer. You cannot wear pointe shoes until you have done ballet for many years, and your teacher thinks you are strong enough to go en pointe. Could this girl study for a few years and be as good as the other girl? Sure, if she's a prodigy. And that's still many hours, every day. no breaks. I know most people understand this, but there are people I have seen get injured because "Ballet is easy" and "anyone can do it". Anyone can... but you have to take lessons. And please, for the love of god, don't try to stand en pointe without proper training. You can get very VERY injured. That is all, thank you for reading my rant, lol.

Noelle R Let's get this straight, she loved dancing her whole life, all though you are right that she isn't good at it, she some what knows how to do it, the teacher says she wasn't really ready for the jump either but at the end she was confident to do it, but it probably would have felt painful because like you said, she probably wasn't ready for it and I thought it went on for a month, but I guess I wwas wrong.
Edit: And btw I don't know anything about ballet, but do you have to start with the pointy shoes for classes? I'm assuming you know alot about ballet...and I would never be able to do it so I think your very talented.

this movie is really amazing. it inspires everyone, not only me, to not give up on their dreams. if you really want to reach your dreams, you need to work hard for it. and that's what felicie did. so inspirational, i hope there's a sequel to this movie that shows them as adults or something.

this movie will mean alot to me because growing up I wanted to be a ballerina but everyone kept tell me that was never gonna happen so after awhile I gave up. But now I'm starting back up again and getting better and better.

Great movie for those who still have dreams and aspirations, it definitely gave me a smile! This movie had a great combination that drew me in, ballet, the style of animation, the underdog story in France, tons of energy, and Félicie and Victor where very lovable characters, I loved seeing Félicie make those goofy ass faces several times in the movie. Everything was predictable and the characters lacked substance somehow; the characters in frozen had more substance.

Grace D There's no such thing as good and evil in this movie, just the protagonist and her main rival (antagonist). Technically Camille won, but she gave up the role for Félicie at the end because she knew Félicie was way more passionate at it, and she was going to get banned from the ballet academy if she didn't get the main role, so I guess Camille had compassion and recognized she didn't deserve to be banned from there
Grace D camile might have more experience but she does dance because of her mom and camile give the part to felecie because felecie does dance because she loves it and works really hard for herself
Because Felice actually loved dance and Camille just did it because her mum made her but I do kinda agree with you because in reality Camille probably would have got it :)

It's a *KIDS* movie! It was NOT made to fulfill Your perfect picture of a ballerina story. Kids will love it, and that's all that matters! I've watched lots of dance shows and there's always that one competitive person (or evil person). Even though they're evil they still work hard too, and they practice just like everyone else does.
Something is telling me that the blonde dude that she has a crush on will either end up being a jerk to her or is on Camille's side in secret or something in that sort, so at the end, she probably comes to realise that she screwed up and ends falling for the cute inventor boy at the end. who wants to bet?

This animated film is based in the most famous ballet dancer. At the beginning, I felt sad because she has impossible dreams for her life in the orphanagel. On the other hand, one thing is bad, he voices don't really match the characters they sound too old for the characters.
Australia version is the best version. Idk why other versions changed the characters lines and voices. But in the US it’s called LEAP! and at the end credits ballerina pops up on the screen

Josiee Annee The lady holding the hammer is the mother of the blonde girl, Camille. She is trying to kill Felicie ( the one climbing the ladder ) because she got a part in The Nutcracker and not her daughter. Camille and Felicie used to be enemies but they became friends after a dance battle ( Camille got the part at the first place, but battled with Felicie and gave the part to her ). Camille's mother was angry and tried to kill her in many ways : with a wrench, that big hammer and making her fall to her death from the top of the Statue Of Liberty ( which was currently finished being built ).
It seems okay, but I sense some clicheness in it.
