Instead of the challenge being with how much damage you can take from a guy with a knife, make it actually saving people. But even then. I don’t see why you can’t just scale enemies up. He doesn’t just fight robbers after all. There’s tons of potential with a Superman game because of the threats he tackles and how he tackles them. It just would take actual creativity, no different than any other great project

Then once he shuts that down, follow the trail to Lex Corp. Luthor places villains like Metallo, Parasite, Livewire, Toy Man and then the 2nd to last boss would be Bizzaro or Amazo. Final Boss can be Lex in his war suit with some robots as support. It's just so simple if you have any idea how Superman and his rogues work.

I enjoy Batman, but I’d also love it if DC gave other IPs a chance. I wasn’t aware about how iconic Flash’s villain roster is. I think him traversing through an open world would be super fun.

Man in Aquaman game would be badass they could add some elements from Shadow of War where you can do sieges on fortresses in regions ruled by either Black Manta or Ocean Master and you can have different Infantry, Calvary and either siege weapons and you can change Aquaman's hair, facial hair, suit and it's color as well as his trident and you can have some badass moves, counters and executions to some bad guys and you could have Aqualad and Mera be a support too.

Imagine a green lantern game with the scribblenauts ability to write green stuff into the game. Like sinestro runs at you and ya type “train” or “scaffolding” and it hits him, or you type in “crowbar” then you can use a green crowbar to beat him, “mech” and you spawn a mech.

Edit: just so this argument doesn't start in the reply, I love sonic but I don't think his gameplay formula is fitting for the flash, if the Flash gets a game I would definitely prefer it to have a split focus on combat, maybe something like Sonic frontiers where it has an equal focus on open-world traversal and fighting enemies could work though..

Here is my suggestions: 1-Question game Disco Elysium style. 2-Justice League Dark: Baldour's Gate and Dragon Age Origins Style. Having DC's waste array of Occult characters, you can make a stellar RPG game. 3-Hellblazer game. How could DC not makes a John Constantine game beyond me. I first thought Disco Elysium for Constantine but Question works better for that style but still that style could works for Constantine as well. Or demon hunter character action game. 4-Lobo the main man. Bounty Hunter in space. Crud humor, ultra violance, you have everything in Lobo. 5-Legion of Superheros game. Legion has great roster and has one of the best rouge gallery. Use them for an action rpg game like X-men Legends. 6-Doom Patrol game. Let's embrace weirdness. Weird heroes, weird villians, weird cases, perfect set up for a different kind of RPG. 7-Booster Gold: Greatest Hero Nobody Heard. Booster Gold fights to save flow of time against time traveling villians. Like that comic run, Booster fights behind the scenes in specific DC events. 8- Gotham City game. It could be a GTA style game , a crook works for Gotham's villians and climbs the stairs in Gotham's crime world. Or a game directly you control villians of Gotham, for being strongest. 9-Suicide Squad game but a real Suicide Squad game, not like that disaster. Real Task Force X game, completing real Suicidal missions. Bigger roster, different abilities for different missions and the mistakes has consequences. For a mission you had to choose nembers from the roster and in the end of mission a member gonna die. 10-And lastly a Real Time Strategy game in DC's space races. Peoples are hungry for RTS games like Command and Conquer. Legendry RTS game Age of Mythology gets a remake. Why not make a game in that style? The races that come uo in my mind are Rannians and Thanagarians. Rann has Adam Strange as prominent member and Thanagar has Hawkman Katar Hol. You can add another races like Tamaraneans, Daxamites and even New Gods of New Genesis and Apokolips.
People saying that you'd be too overpowered in a Superman game must not have heard of Intergang. If they gave an explanation where, maybe Lex Luthor is working with Intergang in order to put more alien weapons on the streets so criminals could kill Superman, then it would all make sense and give us a better challenge. The different enemy types could be criminals with different alien weaponry.
And there are villains who can fight Superman without Kryptonite like Brainiac, doomsday, Mongul, Zod and his kryptonian army, Mr Mxyzptlk, cyborg Superman and Darkseid.
Yes he is overpowered so what? We like to play with Dante in DMC, kick the bosses' butts and defeating hordes of enemies using swords and/or guns (remember, it's the player who decides if he will use other weapons and abilities in each level) and no one saying he is boring because he is overpowered.
ngl an Aquaman openworld underwater game would be lit..Aqualad & Black Manta as the main playable characters, explore their father son dynamic and with Manta more tech based abilities and Kaldur'ahm using more Atlantian/Mystical abilities
@@dukeslytalker1192 Aquaman moves underwater like how Superman flies in the air. Take the Aquaman movie as an example where there are air bubbles to just walk in or go to the surface to walk on but for underwater movement use what the movie did.
For Superman they honestly don't have to adapt his comic accurate powers just use his basic powers and scale him down to early DCAU or My Adventures with Superman and you are set. have him fight characters on his level and you are gold. heck they could do a similar thing to My Adventures by also having him start very early in his career in his early 20s and leave the big boys for the sequels.
Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and the Justice League as a whole. The magic users like Zatanna, Shazam, Dr. Fate, and John Constantine would be pretty cool. Imagine all the damn thing you could do with that alone as magic is literally only limited by the people in charge. BatFamily and Teen Titans too.

Superman needs a video game the most imo since Spider-man and Batman have one with Wolverine about to get his own. Although I would personally like to see a Flash game first before WB tries to do Superman. Green Arrow would be pretty easy to do gameplay wise, the key is making sure it's not a complete Arkham series ripoff (most of his gadgets would match those of the Arkham series gadgets too well).
"Superman is too OP" has always been dumb to me because of God of War's mere EXISTENCE 😭 Kratos gameplay not matching his lore strength is perfectly fine with people, "Oh he just got killed by this random undead. This is fine." Yet Superman gameplay not matching him being utterly broken is somehow mind boggling and they go "wouldn't work."
Also I think that argument is trash as well due to the fact he still have movies and tv shows coming out. Comics. All other forms of media where he still gets shine.
A Green Arrow and Black Canary game would go so hard. Their skillsets are different enough that you'd feel it when playing but similar enough that you wouldn't need like an entirely different set of controls to play as them. I get for a lot of these guys its hard to work out how the power sets would work in a game but Wonder Woman sounds so easy. Like use God of War as the base template and just build up from there if you need to

A Superman return open world game was pretty good, I enjoyed it as a kid. What was clever about it was that the city was your health bar. Flash game can totally work they pretty much have a blueprint of it thru the cancel game, hell even Saints Row 4 has you play as a Speedster

I would say Green Lantern would maybe be a combo of the Celebrimbor ranged attacks from Middle Earth games plus the melee possibilities of changing weapons like the game Prototype. Make it like Fallen Order going to different planets and you got yourself a banger.

Gotham knights almost was that, The story & Character work was great. The gameplay However Was definitely a bit behind. They did their own thing. And if you watch people play The Game, Instead of just hating on it, it's actually pretty fun, but it's definitely not what Arkham was.
I've been saying for a very ling time that we need a superman game similar to god of war 2018 with Superman taking care of his son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his little 10 year old self and being great dad would be fantastic and amazing in my opinion.
Problem with making a video games apart of a cinematic universe is 1) video games are more expensive to make and purchase than films are 2) it segments the part of the fan base who aren’t gamers
Me personally, I believe the flash , could work very well as a sonic like clone, or a hack n slash game , something similar to devil may cry or Bayonetta, or even wonderful 101 with the whole scale and speed. I mean me personally how I will write this new game, and how the flash will be nerf for the sake of this game will be because all the speeds force storm spreading it all over the world or city, which makes flashes speed force limited (this could be used for energy bar)
I didn’t think of it until u brought it up but a teen titans vs justice league game would’ve been fucking insane. They can still do it yk, and I can see the story evolving into 2-3 games starting off vs the justice league but evolving into something much more.

Marvel has given us games like Insomniac Spider Man series, Web of Shadows, Ultimate Spider Man, Spider Man 2 movie game, Shattered Dimensions, Guardians of the Galaxy game, Ultimate Alliance series, X Men Legends, Deadpool 2016 game, Punisher game, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, and Wolverine origins game, etc Meanwhile DC hasnt made a good game up to or since Arkham and Injustice, since then they have released mid games like Gotham Knights and absolute dogwater games like Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, Before that/up to that they made trash games like Batman Dark Tomorrow, Aquaman Battle for Atlantis, and Superman 64, all trash.

I'd be down for a Hawk and Dove beat em up style game, something akin to Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Would probably work best if it was with Henry Hall as Hawk and Dawn Granger as Dove, if they decide to add some kind of morality system for how you deal with bosses (Peacefully or brutally).. I suggest Dawn instead of Donald cuz that can be used as the basis to why Hawk would use more extreme tactics to win.
I think a Superman game should be an open world sandbox style RPG where the main gameplay challenge is how many people you can save, which you'd be able to do by using your powers to interact with the environment in all sorts of ways. For example, freezing a body of water with super breath, picking it up, and dropping it into a nuclear reactor to prevent a meltdown.
I don’t really think that’s ever going to be able to make it as an AAA game. “Superman Simulator” (which is kinda what that sounds like) feels much more like an indie game. I don’t think saving people is a very marketable game concept. I think most audiences are just going to see it as doing chores with superpowers. Plus you’d have to have some sort of radiant system which i imagine would get repetitive very fast.
@@rakoonshampoo2608 Obviously that wouldn't be all there was to the game, I just didn't feel like writing a whole essay in a UA-cam comment. Like M Enterprises said, it's not like Superman has a shortage of villains capable of beating him in a fight, so you'd still have combat in the form of boss fights, or criminals with kryptonite you can't get too close to, etc. Of course such a game would have to get creative in how it challenges you in a fun and compelling way. I'm sure there's a way to do it right, and these are just a few of my ideas.

My two picks are Shazam and blue beetle Shazam has billy batson so you could have plot reasons as to why he becomes billy often (like a timer imagine like the old ben 10 games) and you could have the godly powers being his equipment (like you could change the gods behind his letters or change the word). Also shazam is based in gods and magic stuff so it's a side we haven't seen much in the main DC games To explain blue beetle, hes like a batman fusion with green lantern at least in terms of gameplay (the skill tree can add combo moves and "gadgets") (he can use anything he can think of and this includes the effects like kryptonite radiation for example so he can do a ton). The skill tree and moveset would be peak and he could get into alien and tech stuff.

the way ive always wanted to see a green lantern game done is that it comes with a somewhat rudimentary 3d modelling engine that you can access before missions, so you can make the constructs you want instead of just like... hands or weapons or big cubes. i feel like the constructs in general are the big difficulty for a green lantern game, how do you make it feel like the player has the creative freedom of a lantern, and i would like to think this is a decent enough idea, maybe with some kind of in-game market where you can download other players' made constructs like in besiege or something
Get the guys who did InFamous to make a Static Shock game. Also feel like the Wonderful 101 has some Green Lantern-ey vibes, particularly the hard light looking constructs and just generally being superheroes.
It's kind of crazy thinking about how Marvel's characters are getting so many games; we have three new spider-man games, a GotG game, a Midnight Sons game, a Wolverine game coming, an Avengers game (yeah it sucked, it exists which is my point), and now we're getting a freaking Blade game along with a Captain America/Black Panther game and an Iron Man game. It's crazy Marvel characters are getting the game treatment.

The best idea I've heard for a dream DC game is: make a strategy RPG (in the vein of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics), where you have tons of characters, get to build your own army, and mix and match with different power types against a variety of different enemies. Like imagine Hal Jordan against the Scarecrow, or Batman fighting Lex Luthor or Static vs Black Manta, not in a fighting game but based off certain skills and strengths.
I was just thinking about how good a Teen Titans game would be a couple of days ago. You can make it to where you can play any of the 5 Titans, and like the Spiderman games, you can have a lot of subplots with many villains and have one big bad for the game. Obviously, Slade/Deathstroke or Trigon would fit as the big bad, but I was thinking it'd be cool if someone else was like Mad Mod.
If they were to do a Green Lantern game, I wouldn't mind them redoing that God of War esc beat'em up that came out to promote the movie. Just put a fresh coat of paint, refine the mechanics, and lose the movie title.
Still waiting to get even a single Wonder Woman game is disgusting. I also think you could have really interesting boss fights for a Flash game without a health bar. Have it so the final part of every mission in the game is you having a stand off with a villain or multiple, and you essentially having to solve a puzzle of how to save all the civilians while defeating the villain in slow motion. An interactable version of the Quicksilver scene in DOFP. Also, Doctor Fate could be a really good character for a game series, where every game has a different character wear the mask.
A witcher/god of war type game for Wonder woman is my dream, like imagine open world game set in the themyscira having you fight Wonder woman villains and greek monsters and they can even make a dlc about the other themyscira warriors such as Artemis.

But even then. I don’t see why you can’t just scale enemies up. He doesn’t just fight robbers after all. There’s tons of potential with a Superman game because of the threats he tackles and how he tackles them. It just would take actual creativity, no different than any other great project

Then once he shuts that down, follow the trail to Lex Corp. Luthor places villains like Metallo, Parasite, Livewire, Toy Man and then the 2nd to last boss would be Bizzaro or Amazo. Final Boss can be Lex in his war suit with some robots as support. It's just so simple if you have any idea how Superman and his rogues work.

Imagine a green lantern game with the scribblenauts ability to write green stuff into the game. Like sinestro runs at you and ya type “train” or “scaffolding” and it hits him, or you type in “crowbar” then you can use a green crowbar to beat him, “mech” and you spawn a mech.

Edit: just so this argument doesn't start in the reply, I love sonic but I don't think his gameplay formula is fitting for the flash, if the Flash gets a game I would definitely prefer it to have a split focus on combat, maybe something like Sonic frontiers where it has an equal focus on open-world traversal and fighting enemies could work though..

Here is my suggestions:
1-Question game Disco Elysium style.
2-Justice League Dark: Baldour's Gate and Dragon Age Origins Style. Having DC's waste array of Occult characters, you can make a stellar RPG game.
3-Hellblazer game. How could DC not makes a John Constantine game beyond me. I first thought Disco Elysium for Constantine but Question works better for that style but still that style could works for Constantine as well. Or demon hunter character action game.
4-Lobo the main man. Bounty Hunter in space. Crud humor, ultra violance, you have everything in Lobo.
5-Legion of Superheros game. Legion has great roster and has one of the best rouge gallery. Use them for an action rpg game like X-men Legends.
6-Doom Patrol game. Let's embrace weirdness. Weird heroes, weird villians, weird cases, perfect set up for a different kind of RPG.
7-Booster Gold: Greatest Hero Nobody Heard. Booster Gold fights to save flow of time against time traveling villians. Like that comic run, Booster fights behind the scenes in specific DC events.
8- Gotham City game. It could be a GTA style game , a crook works for Gotham's villians and climbs the stairs in Gotham's crime world. Or a game directly you control villians of Gotham, for being strongest.
9-Suicide Squad game but a real Suicide Squad game, not like that disaster. Real Task Force X game, completing real Suicidal missions. Bigger roster, different abilities for different missions and the mistakes has consequences. For a mission you had to choose nembers from the roster and in the end of mission a member gonna die.
10-And lastly a Real Time Strategy game in DC's space races. Peoples are hungry for RTS games like Command and Conquer. Legendry RTS game Age of Mythology gets a remake. Why not make a game in that style? The races that come uo in my mind are Rannians and Thanagarians. Rann has Adam Strange as prominent member and Thanagar has Hawkman Katar Hol. You can add another races like Tamaraneans, Daxamites and even New Gods of New Genesis and Apokolips.

If they gave an explanation where, maybe Lex Luthor is working with Intergang in order to put more alien weapons on the streets so criminals could kill Superman, then it would all make sense and give us a better challenge. The different enemy types could be criminals with different alien weaponry.

For Superman they honestly don't have to adapt his comic accurate powers just use his basic powers and scale him down to early DCAU or My Adventures with Superman and you are set. have him fight characters on his level and you are gold. heck they could do a similar thing to My Adventures by also having him start very early in his career in his early 20s and leave the big boys for the sequels.

Superman needs a video game the most imo since Spider-man and Batman have one with Wolverine about to get his own. Although I would personally like to see a Flash game first before WB tries to do Superman. Green Arrow would be pretty easy to do gameplay wise, the key is making sure it's not a complete Arkham series ripoff (most of his gadgets would match those of the Arkham series gadgets too well).
"Superman is too OP" has always been dumb to me because of God of War's mere EXISTENCE 😭
Kratos gameplay not matching his lore strength is perfectly fine with people, "Oh he just got killed by this random undead. This is fine." Yet Superman gameplay not matching him being utterly broken is somehow mind boggling and they go "wouldn't work."

A Green Arrow and Black Canary game would go so hard. Their skillsets are different enough that you'd feel it when playing but similar enough that you wouldn't need like an entirely different set of controls to play as them.

I would say Green Lantern would maybe be a combo of the Celebrimbor ranged attacks from Middle Earth games plus the melee possibilities of changing weapons like the game Prototype. Make it like Fallen Order going to different planets and you got yourself a banger.

I'd be down for a Hawk and Dove beat em up style game, something akin to Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Would probably work best if it was with Henry Hall as Hawk and Dawn Granger as Dove, if they decide to add some kind of morality system for how you deal with bosses (Peacefully or brutally).. I suggest Dawn instead of Donald cuz that can be used as the basis to why Hawk would use more extreme tactics to win.
I think a Superman game should be an open world sandbox style RPG where the main gameplay challenge is how many people you can save, which you'd be able to do by using your powers to interact with the environment in all sorts of ways. For example, freezing a body of water with super breath, picking it up, and dropping it into a nuclear reactor to prevent a meltdown.
I don’t really think that’s ever going to be able to make it as an AAA game. “Superman Simulator” (which is kinda what that sounds like) feels much more like an indie game. I don’t think saving people is a very marketable game concept. I think most audiences are just going to see it as doing chores with superpowers. Plus you’d have to have some sort of radiant system which i imagine would get repetitive very fast.
@@rakoonshampoo2608 Obviously that wouldn't be all there was to the game, I just didn't feel like writing a whole essay in a UA-cam comment. Like M Enterprises said, it's not like Superman has a shortage of villains capable of beating him in a fight, so you'd still have combat in the form of boss fights, or criminals with kryptonite you can't get too close to, etc. Of course such a game would have to get creative in how it challenges you in a fun and compelling way. I'm sure there's a way to do it right, and these are just a few of my ideas.

For The Flash game, they could literally do it with the Infamous First Light Gameplay, and it would work perfectly.

My two picks are Shazam and blue beetle
Shazam has billy batson so you could have plot reasons as to why he becomes billy often (like a timer imagine like the old ben 10 games) and you could have the godly powers being his equipment (like you could change the gods behind his letters or change the word). Also shazam is based in gods and magic stuff so it's a side we haven't seen much in the main DC games
To explain blue beetle, hes like a batman fusion with green lantern at least in terms of gameplay (the skill tree can add combo moves and "gadgets") (he can use anything he can think of and this includes the effects like kryptonite radiation for example so he can do a ton). The skill tree and moveset would be peak and he could get into alien and tech stuff.
I would love it if they can do an open world Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, & Aquaman game. Like the Batman: Arkham Games.

the way ive always wanted to see a green lantern game done is that it comes with a somewhat rudimentary 3d modelling engine that you can access before missions, so you can make the constructs you want instead of just like... hands or weapons or big cubes. i feel like the constructs in general are the big difficulty for a green lantern game, how do you make it feel like the player has the creative freedom of a lantern, and i would like to think this is a decent enough idea, maybe with some kind of in-game market where you can download other players' made constructs like in besiege or something
Aquaman, being DC's number 1 film star should be their first choice. Green Lantern would be excellent. A Flash game would bore me.
Get the guys who did InFamous to make a Static Shock game. Also feel like the Wonderful 101 has some Green Lantern-ey vibes, particularly the hard light looking constructs and just generally being superheroes.
It's kind of crazy thinking about how Marvel's characters are getting so many games; we have three new spider-man games, a GotG game, a Midnight Sons game, a Wolverine game coming, an Avengers game (yeah it sucked, it exists which is my point), and now we're getting a freaking Blade game along with a Captain America/Black Panther game and an Iron Man game. It's crazy Marvel characters are getting the game treatment.

All you need to know about the state of DC games is that we have Lego Marvel and Lego Batman. Priorities are clear.
The best idea I've heard for a dream DC game is: make a strategy RPG (in the vein of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics), where you have tons of characters, get to build your own army, and mix and match with different power types against a variety of different enemies.
Like imagine Hal Jordan against the Scarecrow, or Batman fighting Lex Luthor or Static vs Black Manta, not in a fighting game but based off certain skills and strengths.

I was just thinking about how good a Teen Titans game would be a couple of days ago. You can make it to where you can play any of the 5 Titans, and like the Spiderman games, you can have a lot of subplots with many villains and have one big bad for the game. Obviously, Slade/Deathstroke or Trigon would fit as the big bad, but I was thinking it'd be cool if someone else was like Mad Mod.

I also think you could have really interesting boss fights for a Flash game without a health bar. Have it so the final part of every mission in the game is you having a stand off with a villain or multiple, and you essentially having to solve a puzzle of how to save all the civilians while defeating the villain in slow motion. An interactable version of the Quicksilver scene in DOFP.
Also, Doctor Fate could be a really good character for a game series, where every game has a different character wear the mask.
A witcher/god of war type game for Wonder woman is my dream, like imagine open world game set in the themyscira having you fight Wonder woman villains and greek monsters and they can even make a dlc about the other themyscira warriors such as Artemis.
