      I would double check the owners manual to make sure you have the right sized breaker for the air compressor. If that’s not the problem, double check you aren’t shorting anything in the on/off switch with your wiring.

    After watching you carry that I realize I'm in the wrong place lol. I do have a question, when you bought it did you keep it upright or can I lay it down in the back of my truck cuz I got a topper on it...

    • @ThrownSparksGarage
      @ThrownSparksGarage  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah that was definitely a time where I wish I had an extra set of hands to help lol. When I purchased it, it came on a pallet but I brought tools with me so I could remove it and then transported it the same way that you are planning on. I would recommend to bring something soft to rest it on and watch the orientation of the motor so it’s not putting to much stress on itself when you lay it down.

    What size breaker did you use for the plug ? I have the husky red 60 gallon. It says 15 amp on the tank I’m just curious ! I’m about to do the same installation thanks for the video

    • @ThrownSparksGarage
      @ThrownSparksGarage  3 роки тому +3

      So my breaker is a little oversized because I weld off of the same circuit. Which isn’t ideal for the compressor because it will allow it to draw more current before tripping but that’s the risk I’m taking with using a 30 amp breaker. If this is a dedicated circuit for the air compressor I would size it based on the recommendation for the air compressor.

    • @ThrownSparksGarage
