Here's my contest entry for Frozen Gem's "Ready As I'll Ever Be" MAP thumbnail! I was interested in the map but totally can't animate and it's an animation only map...but at least I can try for a thumbnail! :P

Love how Qibli and the background are faded/blurred out a bit! Really brings the focus point to the dragons in the front! (love the detail in the crowns as well!)

the older nightwing is darkstalker, the younger one is moonwatcher, the viewing is queen glacier, and the sandwing is Qibli, i know my WoF characters when i see em', also, this is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!

This made me think of a completely made up W.o.F ending thing. Have KING DarkStalker and Moonwatcher with the nightwing and Skywings on one side, and Queen... Glacier? Snowflake? I don't remember who, but then have Quibli on the other side of THE WAR with the Icewings and Sandwings. Then have Moon and Quibli caught in the middle with their love for eachother, but being on two different sides of the second war. Just an idea, but I would love if someone did this.
This is AWESOME! Just one question... who are the characters and what is the story behind the speed paint? Sorry, that was two. I think I recognize Qibli, Moon and maybe Darkstalker but I don't know who the Icewing is. She must be like a Queen or Princess because she's wearing a crown. Sorry for my dumb brain and useless memory.

How long on average do these drawings take you without the time lapse?
Tishie Maples it depends on the drawing. This one was probably 2-4 hours and took pretty quick. Others like the Clearsight/Sunstreak one took around 8 or so hours and the Fathom/Turtle pic was like 12. Generally if there isn't a background it's 2-5 hours.
Biohazardia wow, I can't believe you have the patience for that. I can never draw anything that takes me more than an hour

Are the characters queen diamond, foeslayer, and queen vigilance?... although the title said dragon slayer so its prob not lol. Dunno who they all are then and absolute no idea who the sandwing is xD i havnt read wof dragonslayer yet bc the library is taking foreevvveerrrrr if you know what i mean 😩 anyways great art 🙂
