2021 Trucks Gone Wild Spring Event - Bounty Hole - Louisiana Mudfest

- Not a prescheduled event but over 20 trucks wanted to participate in doing a bounty hole at Louisiana Mudfest during the Trucks Gone Wild Spring event. Getting this bounty hole competition in before the storm hit Friday evening. The mud was thick but we had some make full passes. Lots of entertainment! Some clips I had to remove the sound due to loud music playing across the pit or I sped up the clip to make it pass copyright issues. Sharing some fun times by some folks testing their machines out. The vw bus caught me off guard that was awesome ..I live weird body's on trucks like old cars ..love a square body too tho
He has worked on that bus over the years. He started out with the original motor and just changed the gearing but last year he added a new V8, hater kit, wheels and tires. That thing is awesome now! He is always a crowd favorite at Louisiana Mudfest. He loves being on the tug pad too! Thanks for watching!

@@adambreckenridge3741 that brings back some memories I had a v6 SXT ranger, it started it's life as a dark metallic blue, but ended up being primer gray with 31" mudd dawgs! Kinda miss that old trouble maker 😁

I want to. But all the good one are way down south of where I live. The nearest one to me even worth seeing is in like northern Missouri. I’m not sure what it’s even called, my cousin read about it online. But it sounded really fun.

More proof that it doesn't matter how tall you've built your truck, if the mud is deeper. Not to mention it doesn't take a lot of greasy mud for you to lose all traction.
Never understood why people drive on the sides, and crawl. Takes the fun out of it for the people watching in my opinion.
If you are 6 inches from the side rope and your foot isnt to the floor then it should be considered cheating. Its boring as hell.

It basically cheating. But is see it as they’re degrading the bank and making it soft and saturated with excess water. So the next person who goes won’t be able to use the bank. Or use it as easily.

So what kind of motor are these guys running, especially the second truck, and I'm guessing they are super charged with nitrous? Last but not least, how much HP are they putting out?
lots of different motors, most are just large chevy motors on gasoline, 600-900hp. Some cummins diesels, one is a dodge v-10. Might be one or two running alcohol at 800-1200hp+. Didnt look like any of them were super charged, just one of the gas trucks sounded like it was turbo.

Get rid of those thin tractor tires you guys have and put wide mud tires on those trucks he'll float through the mud rather than instantly sink and get stuck look it up
Supposedly, skinny tires cut through the mud. Me personally taller tires seems better, more bite over a larger contact patch.

Wobble wht truck . U need front and rear steering .or your just spinning. Get some buffed up clutch springs . Need skinnier tires. Too much weight and no track ton cos tire spins too slow.Damb tourist anyhow...

90% of these trucks would have made it through if they weren't digging axels into the mud. A hummer with big tires might do a Lil' better.
Everyone thinks of mudding and they automatically assume a truck will do best. When I’ve often found smaller cars able to handle in mud a lot better. So long as they have enough power.
