OUR SMALLEST WIRED STROBE EVER
The Godox MS300V is super compact at under 11" long. This makes it ideal for small studio spaces or if you plan on packing this into one of our Strobepro Studio Kits.
PERFECT STARTING POINT
This strobe is a perfect starting point if you're just getting into studio lighting. It offers features at a price point that is almost unbelievable. It's also a great background or fill light to lights you might already have in the Godox system.
LED MODELLING LAMP
The 10W modelling lamp can be adjusted from 5%-100% power levels. Best of all it doesn't need to be replaced like incandescent bulbs. 3 modes including Proportional, Full Power, and Selectable Power.
THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE
Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's professional helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary-based service centre. Don't get left without Strobepro's industry-leading support!
BUILT-IN X RECEIVER
The built-in 2.4G wireless receiver means the MS300V is fully compatible with all Godox X-Series radio controllers. All you need is a controller for full power control and triggering on this strobe.
STROBEPRO/BOWENS MOUNT
The steel mount means every Strobepro lighting modifier will fit perfectly.
POWER RANGE
The 1/32 power range is remarkable at this price point. This means that you can turn the power all the way down to 1/32 to shoot your fastest lenses wide open.
FAST RECYCLING
Recycles in less than 1.8 seconds at full power and 0.1s at 1/32.

This was SUCH a helpful video. Thank you very much for uploading it!
Amazing tutorial! I have both the Xpro and MS300V! :D Thank you for covering both.
Glad you like it!
Thanks for the tutorial.
really appreciate your tutorial
THANK YOU KINGGGG
Would this also wirelessly connect to ZVE10 and so I can use as a flash without any additional gadget?
When the modelling lights go (the incandescent ones), are they easy to acquire, and if so, where? Alternately, if they aren't, what sort of lightbulb would work on these, still allowing to vary the intensity, etc.? Thanks!
Is there any power battery pack or powerbank for ms series to use for outdoor shoot?
Hi. Would this ms300 pair nicely, and complete my 3 light setup. Ive just orderd a Godox AD600pro and Ad100 pro. So looking to ad the 3rd fill light for studio work.
hello, is the modeling light strong enough to use as a video light?
Is the smaller lamp cover for the MS300V (LED modeling light) available yet? Where?
Hey can you use this strobe for outside shoots?
Sorry this is off subject but I have not been able to get an answer to this. My camera is an OM-1 using a GoDox 860 II, triggered with the GoDox x Pro O. In TTL mode I do not get a pre flash. When I attach the flash and trigger to my GH5 it works as advertised. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Hi Kent,
Godox has a list of Olympus and Panasonic cameras that are compatible with their system. Seemingly, reverse-engineering compatibility with these cameras has been less straightforward than with other brands. The list is not fully up to date, but the OM-1 is not listed as compatible, so you may only ever have limited functionality.
I would suggest updating the firmware on all of your devices to see if that brings the OM-1 on board. Sorry-we don't have an OM-1 at the shop to test.
Cool tutorial! Is it possible to make such a tutorial with Godox SK400II-V and Godox XProII? thanks ;)
Hi Adam,
At this time, we don't plan to carry the SK400ii-V. Godox makes a lot of strobes, so we've had to pair down our lineup. Unfortunately, we probably won't have a video for that product any time soon. I believe the controls are the same as on the MS300V, aside from the slightly different button layout.
We do have an in depth tutorial for the XProII controller here:
ua-cam.com/video/BLA1sMbUfpg/v-deo.html
Hope that helps!
Hi I am very new to this. I would like to know does this product do continuous lighting, for like shooting video?
Depends what u want to shoot. In general I would say no. Tge Godox FV200 offers both continuous and strobe functions but the price is double this one
Can you help, I have two of these. They max out at 1/4 power. At 1/2 or 1/1 my indicator light never comes on. What am I missing???
How are you triggering the lights? Make sure you're not adjusting the physical strobe and then using a controller on your camera which is overriding those power settings.
I have this product. Ms300 But i cannot trigger using x2t trigger ....it triggers only if i option for s1/s2 mode which seems to work only at night...daylight it cant sense my speedlight
Hey Sello, your X2T should be able to trigger it if everything is configured correctly. Please feel free to reach out to us by email and we'll help you troubleshoot. Optical triggering can certainly be a bit unreliable out in the sun, so we should definitely get you on radio!
Can you help me sir. I bought mine yesterday and i tested it, when i hit the blinking button not triggering the flash always blinking only.
Did you buy it from Strobepro? The flash tube may not be seated correctly. I would remove it and reinstall.
How strong the modeling lamp vs the old e27 version?
We'll have to get an exact meter reading, but I can give you my subjective impression for now, which is that it is about equal. In any case, it's a very usable modelling lamp.
Can i use x1t radio trigger on this??
Yes you can!
Hi. Can this be triggered using Xpro Trigger?
Yes, it most definitely can!
This ms300v has gn58, my v860ii has gn60, I want to use in 95 softbox so the ms300v would be equivalent to v860ii? I want to buy my first studio flash to replace my v860ii
Hi @dipo2000,
Guide numbers are not great for comparing speedlites with strobes because bare bulb flash tubes and fresnel heads are sort of like apples and oranges. The speedlite directs all of its photons forward while the strobe sends photons in all directions.
A guide number is usually expressed at the speedlite's maximum zoom setting. So while the speedlite reach a further distance at the target exposure, the strobe is lighting a much wider area. As soon as you add a softbox, you will see that the strobe has quite a bit more power. The strobe also fills larger modifiers more evenly. In our controlled tests with a 24"x36" softbox, the MS300 was about 1 full stop brighter than the V860ii:

The MS300 is also much more capable of firing consecutive full powered flashes, while the V860ii is thermally limited after about 30 shots. Hope you find this information helpful!
@@Strobepro I really thank you for this great answer
Can it be used outside?
Hi Corey,
It certainly can be used outside. Just be aware that it's not very well sealed so avoid water and dust.
Mine came defective the unbrella hole was blocked is like they put it in the wrong way
I have the same problem
is it good for talking head youtube videos?
is it HSS?
This model does not support HSS. In the Godox lineup, you would need to go to the QT-series strobes, or any of the AD-series battery strobes.
This is confusing, I was looking at our online store here in the philippines and it says its support HSSZ.
HSS i’m sorry for that typo
For the small price difference, I'd go with the SK400
You could but I would skip the SK series and go to the DPIII series for the small price difference if you need 400W.
@@Strobepro What's the advantage?
The SK is 4 stops
Honestly, I prefer the old version with the socket. It's easy to find LED bulbs that are up to 400W equivalent that will fit it and then you have a passable video light as well.
JESUS LOVES YOU BRO
Is this strobe good for newborn photography? Is modeling lamp bright enough?
Yes, this is a great light for newborn. The modelling lamp is bright enough to find focus and aim your modifiers.
Thanks for the tutorial.
