Rev. Gregory B. Drumwright, one of America’s most promising rising public theologians and social justice organizers of this new decade, is ordained in both the Baptist (Reverend) and Pentecostal (Elder) faith traditions. Since his public ministry in song began in 1995, he has performed sacred music across the globe and as a three-time invited guest at The White House, The Apollo Theatre, and upon network television broadcasts. His public speaking ministry began in 1998 and since that time he has traveled the world sharing educational, empowerment, and inspirational messages of hope and freedom. Rev. Drumwright is the recipient of the Old North State Award, a high honor, from NC Governor Roy Cooper for his 20+ years of service and advocacy across the state and has been celebrated as one of the Top 40 Under 40, most influential black leaders by Black Business Magazine Inc. In 2020 Rev. Drumwright received the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Frank R. Parker Award, a national commendation from the newly appointed US Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke, for his leadership courage, and perseverance as a national political activist and justice organizer.
