Why does the door to rostok open when you throw a bolt on it? I tried that 20 times and it does not work for me. At this point, this just feels like cheating instead of a speedrun …

wait, you can't just run from the Cordon to Prypyat, the red forest is locked behind the story missions. Finding documents in the X labs to destroy the brain scorcher that blocks all advance into the centre of the zone. There's even a road block before the red forest you have to protect from Monolith incursions before you can even enter it. The ppl guarding that road block stop you if you try. So i guess you're using that mod.

So, to get the true ending, I would yoink the VSS from the freedom base, sell my suit at sidorivich, get the merc suit, and well idk but fight throu the Chernobyl npp.

When you are not encumbered (yellow weight) you have infinite stamina
