Thank you 🙂 yesterday I finished the enclosure. It's almost time to see what this thing can do.

Nice build ! What is your working area size ? Is it the standart 17*13" (if I remever correctly), also what kind of tubing would you recomment ?

I've choosed 600x600x100mm build area and 2mm thick 25mm Stainless tubing. Its quite rigid.

Looks awesome! Can I ask the spindle you're using?

I dont know the exact name but it is basically the Vevor 1.5kw Watercooled spindle with an diameter of 65mm. But to be honest, I I had to by the spindle right now I would go with an air-cooled one. The noise is basically the same and you don't have to deal with the water system

@cnc-ing Hi there. Glad I stumbled upon your video. Thats a cool machine you have there.👍
I have a question though about what you said regarding the spindles, I'm in the process of getting one.
I purchased an air-cooled spindle and tested it over the weekend and found it to be pretty loud, so then I ordered a water cooled and found it to be exceptionally quieter than the air-cooled.
Is there any reason why you said the opposite? Thanks. 😃

my motor on z can"t ZUP more then 2.5 KG/ What is your spindle weight?and what kind of nema 17 motors do you have?

I don't know the exact Z Axis weight but I used a different leadscrew with half the pitch then v1 engineering. Because of that the nema 17 has easily enough power to lift the z axis.
