I love how content looking all of these guys look while they're driving their old tractors, they look like nothing could make them happier. I would love to live somewhere that I could own an old tractor, and it would be cool to have one of these great pieces of history.
A brilliant video of some wonderful old machines all looking in good to pristine condition thanks to their enthusiastic owners. The 10 minutes I spent watching that went by so quick. Thank you very much.
Just saying, I think its radical that you respond to comments. It makes your videos that much better. And I think you deserve a medal for it my good man.
Another great showing of antique machinery is at Brooks, Oregon. The Great Oregon Steam Up is held every year on the last weekend in July and the first weekend of August. If you get the chance, you should go. They have everything from steam powered traction engines to vintage crawlers and farm tractors. Cars, trucks, you name it, it is there.
Beautiful machines! I like how it looks like some of them are still used for work. I would be compelled to enter in the parade with a self propelled lawn mower and a pair of roller skates!
Some of these tractors like @ 8:30 and 9:40 would have looked even greater if they had the old canopies like some of the others with them! Anyway I would have loved being there and thanks for posting!!!
Excellent video! :) I love the style of not only old cars and trucks, but also heavy machinery. It's always a bonus when I see them while watching old movies.
Great Video. Old machines are cool. If you tried this in California, the crawlers would have to be smogged, inspected, have airbags, seatbelts, windshields, blinkers, spare tire...
I have a picture of my grandfather sitting on a Cat with his buddy. It was taken in 1942 on Guadalcanal and he was a seaman in the Seabees. His buddy was killed the day after the picture was taken, and my grandad talked about being shot at on a daily basis, because the Cats were considered primary targets by the Japanese trying to stop the construction efforts on Henderson field. While we often think of these machines as mundane tools for working on roads and fields, they were also vital contributors to American victories across the globe. And still are.
It is usually hot there early but some years it has been cold or raining ... I do hope you continue to come every year and video cause you do a great job
Awesome display of crawlers! One thing that stands out to me is how clean they all run. Nary a puff of smoke was seen. Might be different in a work environment but still impressive.
I'm still amazed you love old equipment and physics of firearms and flight of projectiles, just like me :) I had no idea you had videos on equipment and large engines too! One stop shop for awesome UA-cam content Jeff!
Hey Jeff!!!! thx for posting it pal! i've never seeing something like that, in my country these "parades" does not exist u know. Thumbs up for sure man!!!
Dude I love this channel. I never realized you also had cool shit like old hit and miss engines and old tractors and such, I love this stuff, such great content you have! These old tractors are seriously built like tanks and last forever, I got a chance to drive an old dozer from the 50s, it had such a mechanical feel to it, no super-easy levers and pedals you can move with your thumb of these days, and if you can't find 'em you grind 'em. Great experience! Cheers
Where is it held? I'm not sure if you're Canadian or American but would love going to something like this. Anything real old, big and powerful is great to see.
i like this.too...old maskins are part of history ...we have still old maskin here going on ..not nice they work near the house. many hours and days....they are very noisy. i move...i love those pink maskins in this video
Were there any IH (International Harvester) bulldozers out there? esp. 60's TD5? I kinda miss this little bugger, the 1st vehicle I drove alone. 30 years ago it was already 20+ years old. Ran fine except for the fragile steering clutch fiber discs.
One time back when these things were new, two guys hooked theirs up with chains to see who would win a tug of war. The result was the smoky mountains...
In 1984 I worked a job site with a dozer operator with 40 years experience. Poor old fellow, his back was shot from doing the job. Could barely stand up.
Wow what a great video ... I was shocked to see it and more shocked to see myself in it ... I am the second tractor you show ... this is cool and I want to thank you ...you need to do another one next year when I have my dozer restored and it don't smoke so bad LOL
Great video! Nice to see a video without ridiculous music. To the creator, if you have the time and knowledge, dub in the make/model/year. I would love to know the year of some of those bad boys. Great video regardless. Good job!
The value of every video is, the view. Shots too tight without perspective so no story told. Just closeups of tracks. Otherwise it was fabulous. Thanks.
Those machines built and fed this county good to see people restoring and keeping them going. everyone loves muscle cars but all those ever did was burn gas
Here's another comment from the same site that summarizes what California Cap and Trade is: "Cap and Trade is a corporate program to help reduce co2 emissions by 2050. It works by the government giving away permits to large companies that make a huge amount of the co2 emissions. As time goes by, the government gives away less permits, thus less co2. The energy will then be replaced by solar and wind energy. By the time this plan is over, emissions will be reduced by 80 percent."
It surprises me how low they designed the operator's seat in some of these rigs. Unless the person stands up or is very tall, it's tough to see in front of some of them.
I really liked the video! I have some questions, What is the difference between a bulldozer and a tractor? I mean, could a bulldozer be a bulldozer with out a blade? Or, could a tractor be a bulldozer that is a light weight, and wheels instead of tracks? And, could a military tank be considered a bulldozer with out a turret or gun, and it has a blade? And, a high lift be a tractor with out a lift bucket? It just seems wierd.
dang thats gotta be your longest vid ever. i hope you wore your hat to fit in with everyone. how come you didnt get a shot of that little red one at about 9:36 ? lol
How long before the CARB fun police show up and shut down events like this. I have been to the Vista Gas and Steam event in SOCAL - great event. Great to see all the equipment running.
I am out of riverside I got a small ranch and three cletracs a 1945, 1950 and a 1952 .... and I use them all almost daily.... everybody tells me me I need to buy a new one but I like old equipment and I feel if it and broke don't fix it and if it works use it
i interviewed with caterpillar 5 years ago to be an internal QC auditor, they're up by me in NE IL, it would have been a nice job, but obummer got elected and cat downsized the IL facilities.
I have no idea what California Cap and Trade is so I googled it and found this on CalWatchDog daught com: "This thing is so far under the radar screen that I imagine 95% or more of Kalifornian’s have no idea this thing is going on. That makes it so much easier to steal and cheat. I am a collage educated adult who took econ classes and I can’t for a minute, figure out what, and how, they are buying and selling...I’m not sure my analogies relate because, I admit, I have no idea whats going on."
I love how content looking all of these guys look while they're driving their old tractors, they look like nothing could make them happier. I would love to live somewhere that I could own an old tractor, and it would be cool to have one of these great pieces of history.
so i just watched ten minutes of old tractors, and loved every one of it, awesome!
thanks~!
A brilliant video of some wonderful old machines all looking in good to pristine condition thanks to their enthusiastic owners.
The 10 minutes I spent watching that went by so quick.
Thank you very much.
I'm not knocking it being 10 minutes long, I enjoyed every bit of it & look forward to more.
Thanks again!
I love the video. No talking or music to interrupt the machinery operating.
Just saying, I think its radical that you respond to comments. It makes your videos that much better. And I think you deserve a medal for it my good man.
The older D8s are magnificent machines.

I drove one of these in Sicily a few years ago, a local farmer asked me if i wanted to. They're awesome, it feels like you're in control of a tank!
Beautiful machines! I like how it looks like some of them are still used for work. I would be compelled to enter in the parade with a self propelled lawn mower and a pair of roller skates!
This is the Tulare antique truck & tractor show, every April, Love it
Nice series so far! They have a lot of these shows around here. Some of the old stuff they bring out can be pretty interesting to watch in action.
i have a t-6 harvester 1950 that we use around the house. gotta love an old crawler
Brings back so many memories thank you
Some of these tractors like @ 8:30 and 9:40 would have looked even greater if they had the old canopies like some of the others with them! Anyway I would have loved being there and thanks for posting!!!

Great Video. Old machines are cool. If you tried this in California, the crawlers would have to be smogged, inspected, have airbags, seatbelts, windshields, blinkers, spare tire...
I enjoyed every minute of that! Thanks for posting!
Thank you!
Cool video. I like all these dozers
At the last Antique Farms Day there was only one old Caterpillar crawler there...this is pretty impressive.
Wonderful old equipment !
That putt- puttin' really gets me goin'!! If I went to a show like this, I would have taken well over 400 pictures.
I have a picture of my grandfather sitting on a Cat with his buddy. It was taken in 1942 on Guadalcanal and he was a seaman in the Seabees. Awesome display of crawlers! One thing that stands out to me is how clean they all run. Nary a puff of smoke was seen. Might be different in a work environment but still impressive.
The rich history stemming back from the days when all those machines were brand new to their worksites.
Great look at a bit of history, thanks for the vid, really fun!
+Johnn Schroeder thanks sir!
I'm 72 and enjoyed it as though I were 7. You don't have to do a 9 second 1/4 mile to be mechanically interesting.
I'm still amazed you love old equipment and physics of firearms and flight of projectiles, just like me :) I had no idea you had videos on equipment and large engines too! One stop shop for awesome UA-cam content Jeff!

Thanks! I wanted to go to the Antique Farm show again this year in April but I have to work that weekend.
Where is it held? I'm not sure if you're Canadian or American but would love going to something like this. Anything real old, big and powerful is great to see.
It's held in Tulare California
Great video ! A Big Thumbs up ! Liked very much . Great history also .

Me Too !
What a neat bunch of machines...
Were there any IH (International Harvester) bulldozers out there? esp. 60's TD5? I kinda miss this little bugger, the 1st vehicle I drove alone. 30 years ago it was already 20+ years old. Ran fine except for the fragile steering clutch fiber discs.
No offense Jeff but could you possibly edit the video and add info from each model? Very interesting machines and I enjoyed watching it thank you.
One time back when these things were new, two guys hooked theirs up with chains to see who would win a tug of war. The result was the smoky mountains...
Thanks for the video. awesome!

An hour ago I was watching videos of minivans with hypercar engines in them.
Thanks.
nice video. id love to see an interview of one of the owners of a machine like that, telling of the history and uses.
Simply the best video I've seen. I wish it was ten hrs longer!
Love the old machines.
Those machines built and fed this county good to see people restoring and keeping them going. everyone loves muscle cars but all those ever did was burn gas
Jeff Bankston MI ji
Old is gold
Your channel kicks ass
And then, one day, someone looked at one of these old trctors and thought:"Hey,this would make a nice Tank!"
Love the show.
Thanks, I enjoy seeing or going to any antique collections like that. You should put up video a response on mine
Excellent video!

Very interesting to watch. I think after seeing your video that I'll take my antique steam engines videos out of private videos
Thanks for sharing!
What type of business is it that you work for?
yes lovely video, memories, I used to drive a track marshall 90 in the seventies, I'm surprised I can still hear. lol.
It surprises me how low they designed the operator's seat in some of these rigs. Unless the person stands up or is very tall, it's tough to see in front of some of them.
Could you upload a version of this with more narration?
Tnx for posting it!
film the exhaust of a hit and miss engine, preferably one that makes smoke rings, in slow motion.
would be sweet
Are one of those crawlers a CAT 70?
At 3:45 is it just me or does that tractor make that guy on it look gigantic?
pretty cool
thanks for sharing its really good
SO FREAKEN COOL THANKS AZTEC 07
I like the sound of the two cylinder John Deere t ypes :)
+granskare Grew up to the sound. Farmers making hay at night... I could hear the Poppin' Johnnies all night in the summer.
+geob01 yeah, when they were working hard, you could hear them everywhere....we did not have crawlers but just wheel types. :)
oh man, I gotta get me one of these!
Awesome vid, thanks so much.

i interviewed with caterpillar 5 years ago to be an internal QC auditor, they're up by me in NE IL, it would have been a nice job, but obummer got elected and cat downsized the IL facilities.
U even have one of the models that helped build Panama Canal at 1:36
If you don't like classic dozers or tractors or crawlers... why the fudge would you click on this video?
The kind of equipment you can fix with a hammer.
Shotguns and Bulldozers . . . well I'll be damned . . . sign me up, LMAO.
Lots of unlubricated steel to be heard.
nitrofish420 Even the newest machines make squeaks. It's just the nature of those machines with serious metal on metal contact.
i love to get my Oxy-Acetylene torch to one of those
this is what I imagine north korea's first tanks to look like.
at 9:15 ; that one is so old it's in black n white.
I have no idea what California Cap and Trade is so I googled it and found this on CalWatchDog daught com:
