Plate Clean Up

A demonstration of plate cleaning techniques using After Effects and Photoshop. All elements were painted in and tracked to the original footage to keep camera movement and parallax. Also note the movement of the trees in the upper right corner. This was an intentional choice to preserve the organic nature of the shot.

I just used the after effects tracker. A real sweet trick I used here was to actually have 3 nulls with different tracking data. Each null represented a different depth in the shot (to deal with parallax). So for example, the first null held tracking data from points on the other side of the street, the second tack used points on the street, and the third used the street light for closer tracking points. :)
