Looks great. I've been doing mugs and tumblers with sign vinyl for years & customers love it. My personal favorite coffee mug has lasted me 5 years with no peeling or lifting. So glad your patterns are now available as adhesive (sign vinyl).
So this is a decorative mugg? Just for a shelf or display or something? Because if its washed it Will not hold for long periode of time.. or proove me wrong by explaining in detail. Thx 😁😁 love stahls by the way..

Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use pressure sensitive vinyl on glass or plastic.
This is a bit misleading, vinyl is not a permanent thing. I say that being a signie and work with it daily. And when heat is added the adhesive will soften and fail, regardless of how higher tack the adhesives are. I understand business is business but the onset of companies praying on mums and dads to set up home hobby merch businesses will only come back and bite as doing so is making shops that have been doing this for years stop doing it as we cannot compete with someone that doesn't have to pay rent for a commercial premise, pay staff wages etc etc

It's our vinyl that does not require heat to apply. Some call it sticker or decal vinyl.
It's very important to share with your clients that this would not be considered Microwave Safe. With Coffee Mugs, often someone would assume that it is. Vinyl is not considered Microwave safe. This should be shared in the video and in the description.

You don't explain how to care for the mug. Why use vinyl if the design doesn't last? Why not use infusible ink?
The vinyl used is adhesive sign vinyl. It's durable and will last on the mug with handwashing or on the top rack dishwasher. This method allows you to decorate on dark colored mugs, where typical sublimation is not possible.
I think because with infusible ink, you need a mug press. I have some pretty things on my dog bowls that arn't even vinyl and in spite of many washing they are still there. so I think vinyl would last longer.
