It reminded me of the cycle where Nicole won and Nik didn't. Both outcomes absolutely floored me!
I think it was two things really; Covergirl allegedly picks the winner from the start, and if you look at the cycles, the winners alternate from white to POC, probably to negate any chance of bias. I agree though, Allison is my favourite model, and she should have won

The craziest thing is antm actually had a pole on who was their favorite of the cycle and Allison was at over 50% while the other girls had barely 10% if they were lucky

I don't understand how they talked up Allison in that final judging session, and talked down teyana. basically Allison impressed them the most and teyana disappointed them the most but they chose teyana as the winner? Allison showed the most improvement over the whole season and she killed the finale but teyana is the winner? ok.
If you watch all final panels you can tell that they always do that to trick you. They always praise the runner up the most. That being said, I think Allison got robbed of the win twice.
But she didn't win?😕😟 Exactly the reason why I stopped watching. Allison has to be one of the most favorites on the show, nearly every week she gave stunning pictures, she always tried to improve, and she stayed true to herself. She deserved to win. She had the youthful look, the unique personality, an ability to take amazing pictures, always took in the judges and photographers criticism and tried to perfect what they told her to, with more practice her walk and commercials would become even better but she didn't win and that was some bullshit.

I agree Alison was THE best and honesty she has the most beautiful exotic and unique look I've seen on this show and she was darling. Luckily for her most non winners of this show go on to be more successful anyway andIn her case I have read she actually has been signed to multiple agencies and is doing great as a working model! I love this girl so much! Why didn't she win!!! She is educated, sexy and ADORABLE!!!! I really want to meet her and just chat with her in person some day. She seems like such an interesting person with a lot of insecurities she had to overcome as a child. I really hope this show let her understand how incredibly beautiful she is on the inside and out!

My best guess to why she didn't win was either they wanted the winner to be black this cycle, or covergirl didn't like her for some reason. All stars, there's no reason she shouldn't have won that (apart from maybe her shyness may have been a hinderance in one of the prizes? Idk) But she's the most loved and successful from this entire series by far so I guess it doesn't matter much.... where are Lisa and Teyona? Definitely not as successful as Allison is
Alison is absolutely beautiful she might not of won but no girl was as beautiful and as elegant on antm as Alison. Those eyes her personality inside and out beautiful girl love her. She the true winner

Teyona is beautiful, and a great model, and frankly would have more traditional success as a model than most girls in the house, but Allison has that star quality - just a very unique look - that's what it takes to be a top model. You can't look like every other model.

The damn producers and Cover Girl or whatever sponsor clearly wanted Teyona to win from the beginning. The previous cycles before this EVERY 3 cycles the winners were always black girls (Eva and Danielle were justified). They kept that going until C14
practicality wise, Teyona won but Allison was able to be a REAL fashion model. Sometimes in life, you don't have to win always, a real triumph is how you able to rise to the occasion. Unfortunately, after winning, Teyona wasn't able to be as Model as she was expected to be since she won unlike Allison who became a fan favourite that helped her book more great opportunities in modeling not just in the US but also here in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Honestly, I think the reason Allison didn't win WAS because she was THE BEST choice, and no matter what she'd walk out with contracts. She was the OBVIOUS choice that would be successful no matter what, so they gave the award to the one that needed it more. Allison didn't need it.

they said really good things about allison, but also, you have to watch the things that they said about Teyona to know why she doesn't make it.
Allison is my favorite contestant of all time, she did amazing on both cycles 12 and 17. I don't mind them picking Teyona because the girl was a very good model and she was the only girl who could compete with Allison. Ali was a little better than her but Teyona definitely fit CoverGirl a lot more and we all know that's what it comes down two.

Just to add she seems to have done better and has gotten more work then the two she lost to....So there you go...This show at the very least gives some of these girls exposure but I think any of them that actually have true potential and are model material can easily get signed to an agency without this show..period.
