- I completely feel in love with the brand new limited edition Seiko Presage Star Bar when I saw it the first time. I rushed to get my hands on an example as there's only 6000 made. In this video I give you my initial impressions after 24 hours of ownership.

i just picked one of these up for $525. I was super happy to get a limited edition Seiko for under the original price of the watch. The honey comb pattern is so much more satisfying in person too.

Nice one, Anders. I love the complication. I have the Seiko Presage with the blue enamel dial (SPB075) and it is one of my all-time favourite watches. I look forward to the review.
Love the design and presentation of this watch. I would add to my collection without hesitation if it used a sapphire crystal.
That box is nicer than the one that comes in my srq031. Damn 😅
I have the Star light SARY 085 and the box on that one is certainly better. The size and hardlex plus the space between the crown are why I never really liked it. But it was a good investment in retrospect.
I'm not a fan of the open heart, and hardlex would be a deal breaker for me at the price. That said, the dial is incredible!

Hi. I don’t have a lot of experience with limited Seiko. This one is down in value. A golden rule is to buy watches you enjoy and care less about value retention.

I tried it on and its nice but no where near as nice as the SARX029 Urushi in my opinion
I think it would be more elegant with a small date window and leave off the open heart.

Do you think this watch will gain value in the future ?
It’s hard to say. Maybe in five years someone will search for it. But Seiko do make quite a few limited editions.

I have to agree with the opinion of other people that this watch would look even much much better without the open heart.
I'm rather new to Seiko as a brand: My first Seiko was the one you recommended, the Seiko Presage Manhattan or "Coffee (Time?)".
That's why I wonder:
Are these complaints in regard to the bad quality of the leather straps entirely related to previous, cheaper Seikos?
The leather strap on my Presage isn't highest quality, but I'm satisfied at this price point.
May I ask, where did you buy this Seiko Honeycomb?

Nice watch, enjoy it man, but i really wish watch companies would stop opening holes in dials. Especially in this case, where there isn't anything very extraordinary to show. This beautiful dial is being desecrated for no reason...

@@brokelos A lot of people like things that aren't very tasteful, that doesn't mean that they are worthy. In this case the watch is beautiful, but the hole is completely unnecessary...
