      @@Luca33600 Vilas was never ranked number one in the official rankings, despite winning 4 majors. Rios held the number one ranking for 6 weeks he still has the dubious distinction of being the only ATP # 1 to never win a major.

      Its very difficult to miss Borg if u have said Mcenroe. Like theres some players that just are always mentioned together. Its almost impossible to mention one without mentioning or thinking of the other e.g. Federer/Nadal, Borg/Mcenroe, Sampras/Agassi.

    Happy to see Monfils win! Hopefully he will get fulfilled with his Grandslam dream this year! I knew, it’s very hard & some luck need to favor him. But he is such a character, alway fun to watch him play.

    Gael just owns it and Marin naming the players with such an ease as well. I can imagine them sitting both in front of telly when they were little boys and cheering for all these legends. And then also enjoyed playing some of them.

    @ATP Tour UA-cam Managers: I've been enjoying these clips because I love tennis, but I'm sure showcasing these players out of the court doing fun things is part of the marketing to expand the audience. Non-tennis fan viewers may come upon these clips thanks to the algo, so it would REALLY HELP if there was a graphic identifying these players at the first instance. Marketing 101!

      @@matthewcaple6741 only won the US opens so maybe not so surprising. If you're ever only holding points from a single Major, chances are that your reign is short. Although the WTA has had some exceptions to this

      Marcelo Ríos is known for being number 1 without ever winning a Grand Slam. He won 5 Masters, though. So basically right now him and Zverev have similar statistics lol

      @@JamesIsAway I mean it’s cute but how much of your actual personality is shown by recalling trivia knowledge to a camera? It just seems like so much of the players’ off-court time is devoted to media (interviews, press conferences, ads, branding, etc.) that this just seems unnecessary. I think players’ personality is often expressed already during press conferences, on-court & off-court interviews, on-court antics, and through social media.
      Maybe I’d be more sympathetic if these games featured more players who are not as accustomed to the spotlight (ie players like Taro Daniel who only got 1 question in his last post conference press conference). Right now it just comes off as ATP milking the top players for content even if it’s pretty saccharine content that only really superficially highlights their personality.
