The "red rex" skin is the Melanistic, and Zombie (the skin artist who made it) mentioned he'll be changing it, as it wasn't meant to be as red as it is in-game currently. (And yes, the Albino Adult got updated. Looks nicer than it was before, imo.)
Anthomnia a realaitic place for a rex is a forest where the dense vegetation will help it hide from prey. The forest was like the place you went as rex when you fought the acros and giga
A good territory should have water obviously, and would have a good mix of habitats. Forests provide cover for hunting, but plains give you a good line of sight to seek out prey. Hiding at the edge of the forest and watching an exposed watering hole for prey would be ideal.
i spent 10 minutes trying to get servers to load on the isle after not playing the broken thing for months and as soon as they do load... i join a server and it pops me back to the main menu without even telling me what happened. closed the game and i'm not touching it till they fix the time it takes for the game to launch, keeping battleeye enabled so i don't have to wait 5 more minutes for the game to load the main menu, and laggy movements that make things teleport behind you, make being a baby easier so you wont have to run back and forth almost dying to get the food and water.

Oh and Hell Creek also had a diverse coniferous forest that in the summer would erupt in flames due to the temperature being so diverse having dark cool winters, and skin melting summers. it depends on what your skin is Anyway the most realistic place for a T-rex is probably near forest ,swamps and caves like you found in the video It would provide cover for a big predator. There would be other dinos that you could hunt when they are coming for a drink, you wouldn't run out of thirst either it would provide all a T-rex family needs
You should rest and lay ur eggs where the cave was, because you could kill what around there, there's water right next to it, and if your hatchlings get in trouble they could hide in the grass!
Considering the rex is so big and not as fast (since it sacrificed speed for bulk/strength) it would need a lot of cover for ambushing large trees, bushes, trenches so it can stalk through them. The forest would be ideal or the area around the forest, tho the rex would want to be where food is and where carcasses are at and considering the herbs spend a lot of time at the savannah that's where your best bet would be to get enough food and water. The savannah probably wouldnt be the best/ideal place for rexes but the savannah in the game has some suitable ambush spots that I noticed that should be enough for you to ambush prey. So I would just recommend staying at the savannah area but just be smart about which prey items you go for and actively stalk and ambush for best results while hunting, dont just go for the first thing you see until you're pretty much starving, it's what most predatory animals do.
all of this you probably already know hahaha. tho lions, wolves etc can take hours to bring down prey. They take time stalking and running it down, tho in the game it would probably take only a few minutes.

For The Isle i would recommend at least a decently powerful desktop and the game is on steam :3 im not sure about laptop but it might work with settings low XD (for best gameplay desktop computer lol)
Did you know that the Juvenile Rex has a type of poison that is fatal to carnivores. But very weak in bite force compared to Sub Adult. Fun fact the Juvenile Rexs would stay in there home territory while the Adults hunt and drag back the food. If a carnivore were to attack juvenile Rex's it would have to be very careful by the Juveniles poisonous bite.The Juvenile/Juveniles would try to keep its mouth toward its attacker. The attacker would most likely back off unless the attacker is trying to get rid of the competition and probably use its tail. Just some fun facts that I think should be implemented into the game.

The reason the carnivores know they are in the wrong area is that the Rex's scent their grounds (area) with their strong scented urine.
If you're on about the bacteria in a rex's mouth it was more of a disease not poison, and they got that from cannibalism
It wasn’t poison. The T. rex had a septic bite which meant anything it bit was guaranteed to get an infection and likely be very damaged or die.
Based on real evidence, Tyrannosaurus lived in REDWOOD FORESTS!
