Hi lia! Oh i didnt use any medium.. i only damp my brush. I was struggling in the beginning as well. I believe that with consistent practice you’ll get how to work with acrylic. But some of the tips that i can give you is maybe to put more paint on you brush. You can also mist the paint that you put on your palette with water. you can also try to experiment with different brands of acrylic paint because i do admit that some brand dries faster. The one that i’m using now is from liquitex basics. I also like montmarte and winsor & newton. Dont worry it’s always hard in the beginning but i’m sure you’ll get it! 🤗
